IT House March 10 news, Mac Studio has two versions, one version uses the M1 Max chip used in the 2021 MacBook Pro, and the other version uses Apple's latest M1 Ultra chip, which connects the M1 Max chip together and runs as a chip, using Apple's original UltraFusion package architecture.

After yesterday's press conference, the introduction page of Apple's Mac Studio has been launched on the official website, and the page shows that the M1 Ultra version of Mac Studio is 0.9 kg heavier than the M1 Max version of Mac Studio, which makes people curious about the reasons behind it. Apple today provided An explanation to The Verge that the difference in weight was originally because the two versions had different cooling systems.
IT Home learned that according to Apple, the M1 Ultra version uses a copper heat sink module, while the M1 Max version uses an aluminum heat sink. Copper is heavier than aluminum, and the former has a larger thermal module, so the weights are different, and both versions have the same 370W power supply.
M1 Ultra has different performance from M1 Max, with a 20-core CPU and up to 64-core GPUs, which has twice the computing power of M1 Max. Despite having high-power chips, Apple says the Mac Studio is able to operate quietly, with its structure sucking air in through an airflow channel at the bottom using a double-sided blower and pushing it out through a perforation on the back of the chassis.
