Among them, the A round is the exclusive lead of Hillhouse Venture Capital, and the A+ round is jointly led by the national science and technology investment platform CDB Science and Technology Innovation and Hillhouse Venture Capital. Other participating investment institutions include: Guangzhou Knowledge City Group, Shenzhen Angel Fund of Funds, Nanshan Pilot Talent Fund, Nanshan Fintech Fund, Songhe Capital, Jingcheng Capital, Linear Capital, Haohan Investment, Haisong Capital, Cornerstone Capital and Renzhi Capital.
Shifeng Technology said that these two rounds of financing will further increase the independent research and development efforts and depth of Shifeng Technology in engineering simulation/CAE core software and technology, accelerate the application of the company's core software and industrial digital twin system in multiple key industries, and promote the national business layout to create a business system that develops in synergy with the regional industrial economy.
Shifeng Technology was founded by Academician Chen Shiyi, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Former Vice President of Peking University, Former President of Southern University of Science and Technology, and Internationally Renowned Computational Fluid Dynamicist. The company is committed to the research and development and engineering application of multiphysics simulation and digital twin technology, aiming to create domestic high-end industrial simulation software. Headquartered in Nanshan, Shenzhen, it has established regional industrialization bases in Beijing, Guangzhou, Taizhou, Jiaxing, Nanchang, Xi'an and other places.

According to the "China Industrial Software Industry White Paper (2020)" jointly released by the Information Technology Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Industrial Technology Software Industry Alliance, 95% of domestic R&D and design industrial software rely on imports, and none of the top ten suppliers in the domestic CAE software market are domestic manufacturers.
