Recently, Slovak software company Matsuko announced plans to launch its new holographic communication application during the 14th annual SXSW Pitch. According to reports, the application uses a combination of AR and AI technology, using iPhone and compatible XR devices to project realistic 3D holograms in a real environment.
According to Mastuko, the app will provide a more natural form of remote communication by allowing users to easily record and share 3D holograms in real time, without the experience of immersive technology before operation, users can simply point the iPhone's camera at their face and start talking, and users with compatible XR devices can view the 3D holograms taken by the iPhone in real time.
Maria Vircikova, co-founder and CEO of Matsuko, said: "Our brains are connected to a third dimension and we need a sense of immersion and are excited to show the judges at SXSW Pitch how our solutions provide a true holographic presence and how they can help people make an emotional connection. ”
It is understood that iOS users can download the Matsuko app for free through the App Store, and can also use XR glasses such as Nreal and Microsoft HoloLens 2 to view holograms in real time, and support Meta Quest 2 on the way.
