In terms of power, the RZ version will be equipped with a 3.0T turbocharged six-cylinder engine, and the drivetrain will match the 6-speed manual transmission, while other versions will continue to be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine and use an 8-speed manual transmission. At the same time, the power parameters of the models matching the manual transmission have also been improved, with the maximum power increased to 285 kW and the peak torque of 498N·m.
It is reported that due to the change in the nature of the transmission, the new car may have to abandon some driver assistance systems, such as adaptive cruise control and rear emergency braking. In addition, Toyota will also provide an additional batch of manual models with matte white paint and brown interiors, and will be sold in a limited edition of 50 units, which is priced at 550,000 yen (about 30,100 yuan) higher than the ordinary version.
