There are a few mistakes that beginners must avoid when learning the violin, and it is too difficult to change once you develop a habit!

Some children who learn to play the piano do not teach the piano rigorously enough in the enlightenment stage, and do not correct some of the child's wrong postures in time, and then let the child change after forming a habit over time. And it is also a very painful thing for children.

But the correct posture must be determined and patient to change, otherwise it will bring difficulties to future learning. At present, there are still many children who have posture errors in playing the piano, and some students who have transferred from other teachers to me have more than half of the children who have these mistakes in their postures, and children who have changed these mistakes are tired of teachers.

There are several common mistakes for children who are new to violin:

1. The right hand bow posture is wrong

The wrists and fingers holding the bow should be flexible and elastic, and the entire hand should be relaxed so that it can adapt to changes in the speed and strength of the play.

1, the hand holding the bow should be relaxed, only in the case of a slight bending of the thumb is possible. The correct bending degree of the thumb against the bow, under normal circumstances, should be slightly bent, and some children's thumbs are bent mostly, and some children's thumbs are stretched too straight, these two problems are not conducive to the right hand bow, as we all know, the posture of the five fingers holding the bow in the right hand is not fixed, but with the right hand up and down the bow is always adjusted, too bent, too straight to reduce the adjustment range of the thumb and the relaxation of the right hand to hold the bow. This problem is because the thumb is under the bow shaft, usually not paying attention, not easy to detect. Therefore, when the parents of the piano children first learn the piano, they must pay attention at any time and correct the problems in time. Once an incorrect posture is formed, it is difficult to change it later.

The correct posture of the right hand thumb is shown in the following figure:

2. The little finger of the right hand is not naturally bent against the bow shaft with the fingertip, but straight against the bow shaft or placed on the side of the bow shaft like other fingers, the correct little finger posture is shown in the following figure:

Second, the right hand big arm is wrong to carry the bow

The trajectory of the right hand bow is not straight, especially when the bow is transported from the bow to the tip of the bow downwards, the problem of the right hand's large arm retreating backwards, so that the bow rod slides towards the fingerboard when the bow is transported to the bow tip.

Corrective method: When the child transports the bow down to the middle bow, the adult uses his hand to block the child's right elbow next to him, do not let the big arm retreat, so that the child's right forearm has a feeling of reaching forward. After a period of reinforcement, the problem of the right hand retreating backwards will be changed.

There is also the right hand upwards to the bow root, the bow tip direction is easy to deviate from the straight line outward or inward, the corrective method: let the child from the bow tip to the bow root, maintain the straight trajectory of the bow, when transported to the bow root, the right hand slightly up, so that the bow hair away from the string, the right hand continues to carry the bow upwards, so that after a period of training, the right hand bow will improve.

There is also a child who is new to the piano to strengthen the empty string bow exercises, insist on practicing the empty string bow for a few minutes before each practice, and need to adhere to it for a long time (within a few years of learning the piano), which is of great benefit to the quality of the bow and pronunciation.

But it is not pointless to do a mechanical bow to cope with the task. Instead, we must pay attention to the contact point of the bow, the straight trajectory of the bow, the strength and speed of the bow, and pay attention to the force control of the bow root and the bow tip. If you stick to it for a long time, you will definitely benefit a lot.

Third, the left hand presses the string incorrectly

There are three most common types of left-handed chord press errors:

1, the little finger of the left hand pressed the string is not naturally bent with the fingertip pressed on the string, but the finger is straight with the finger belly pressed on the string, and even more children press the little finger flat on the string like pressing the overtone, especially in the G, D string, so that the rise and fall sensitivity and pitch of the little finger are greatly reduced.

2, the left hand pressed the other three fingers are not naturally bent to stay on the top of the string, often the fingers are tired of bending away from the strings, especially the little finger is more likely to wearily stay on the side of the fingerboard, this error will seriously affect the speed of the finger.

3, the left finger pressed the wrong direction of the string, the correct left hand should be vertically pressed the string rather than the finger horizontally pressed the string, that is, the finger nails are facing the face, especially the little finger is not as good as other fingers due to physiological conditions, it is easier to cause the horizontal press.

Therefore, the parents of the piano children, when the child first learns the piano, they should pay special attention to the fact that after the teacher has taught the hand shape of the left hand to press the string, when going home to practice, we must train strictly, and the left finger should naturally bend and use the fingertip finger to press the string vertically, and when pressing the string, the other three fingers must naturally bend to stay above the string, especially the little finger must stay on the top of the string like other fingers.

The posture of the left hand pressing the string correctly is shown in the following figure:

Fourth, the left hand is wrong with the wrist

The correct left-hand posture should be that the left wrist and forearm naturally form a straight line, slightly curved outward, see the following figure:

The wrong posture is that the wrist is bent outwards, see the picture below:

Fifth, the bad habit of beating the pat with the foot

Now some children play the violin also has a bad problem, that is, with the foot beat, and found that many teachers are also taught this way, in fact, this is a very bad bad habit, not to say that the use of foot beat on the piano what impact, just say that after the habit of using the foot to beat the beat, the future performance on the stage will also use the foot to beat the beat, it is very unsightly. Therefore, in order for children to start learning the piano, they must use metronomes, and gradually cultivate to beat in the heart, in fact, they must use their feet to beat, but also learn to use big toes to beat.
