On February 28, Sinotruk VGV held the listing of its new pickup truck VX7 in Beijing. A total of 3 models were launched in the new car series, and the price range was 112,800-11.98 million yuan. Different from the daily cargo pickup truck, the VGV VX7 is biased towards the "full scene to carry the life pickup truck", and the whole series uses the load-bearing body design, which is more outstanding in terms of driving experience.
In terms of appearance, the styling design of the new car is similar to that of Sinotruk VGV's SUV product U75 PLUS. The front face uses the same honeycomb grille. At the lower bumper, the red trim strip enhances the sense of sport.
Coming to the side, the new car features a pickup truck's classic double-row design. In terms of body size, its length, width and height are 5015/1870/1732mm, and the wheelbase is 2800mm.
In terms of the rear, the shape of the new car is different from the large cargo box of the traditional commercial pickup truck, but more like it is modified according to the SUV model, giving people a visual effect of a crossover. The hatch adopts the traditional opening method, and its cargo box size is 1114*1438*588mm, and the rated load mass is 330kg.
In terms of interior, the VGV VX7 basically continues the design of the U75Plus model. The large screen of the central control adopts touch operation, and the screen size can be described as a leapfrog in the pickup truck model. The design of the center console is relatively regular, and the gear shift mechanism adopts knob operation.
In terms of power, the VGV VX7 is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged gasoline engine with a maximum power of 165 kW and a peak torque of 385 Nm, and the transmission system is matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The front suspension of the new car is a McPherson-style independent suspension, and the rear suspension is different from the non-independent suspension of the leaf spring commonly used in traditional cargo pickup trucks, and is replaced by a multi-link rear independent suspension.
