A few days ago, tesla Model Y has begun to be officially delivered in the UK. Over the weekend, Tesla delivered more than 1,000 of these compact SUVs to customers in the country.
Earlier last week, Tesla began delivering the Model Y to the UK market. The first 25 vehicles were delivered to owners. Small individual delivery events take place at several locations, including Oyster Catcher in Anglesey, The Imperial War Museum in Manchester, Bristol Aerospace and Kromber Park in Nottinghamshire.
On the following Saturday, Feb. 19, Tesla held a massive car delivery event at the Port of Southampton. Deliver more than 1,000 long-awaited Model Ys to consumers. The company's account shared photos of the Happy Families receiving the Model Y on social media.
As consumer demand for the Model Y continues to grow, the company is looking to expand delivery of this compact SUV to all markets. With production still delayed at the Berlin Gigafactory in Germany, these Teslas are produced at the Shanghai factory, which also bears more loads.
According to recently released data, the Shanghai plant delivered 59,845 vehicles in January, an increase of 286.5% year-on-year, of which 40,499 were used for export.
A few days ago, a large number of Tesla Model 3 and Model Y were found in the port near the Shanghai factory, and they will depart from there for travel around the world.
