The biggest change this time is the handle, more in line with the grip posture and ergonomic design, after the redesign of the PS VR2 controller supports adaptive trigger, haptic feedback and finger touch detection, which will achieve the same adaptive trigger button effect as the PS5 DualSense handle, according to different handheld appliances to simulate different pressure levels, so that PS VR2 can achieve the same handle experience as the PS5.
In terms of functions, PS VR2 has improved significantly in terms of hardware, according to the technical selling points announced on the official website of PlayStation before, PS VR2 will support eye tracking, tempest 3D audio technology and headphone feedback technology, and will provide a more immersive game experience through acoustic simulation and vibration. Eye-tracking systems allow VR systems to render fewer pixels.
