Sony PS3/V Store issues have been fixed and many old PS1 games have resumed normal play

IT House May 1 news that in April, several PlayStation users reported that some digital games suddenly failed to launch on classic consoles such as the PS3 and PS Vita. Classic games for multiple PS1s show expiration on December 31, 1969 and fail to launch after downloading.

According to the latest report from PushSquare, all the issues players experienced in the PS3/V store are now resolved. Users can now purchase and download content from the Game Store, as well as re-download previously purchased content without any problems.

IT House understands that in March 2021, Sony announced plans to close the PlayStation Store on PS3, Vita and PSP. However, after strong objections from players, Sony said it would no longer close the PS3 or Vita store, but still closed the PSP store in July 2021.

Previously, classic games for multiple PS1s showed expiration on December 31, 1969, and could not be launched after downloading.
