Developer Schell Games recently announced that its space werewolf killing game "Among Us VR" will support the PSVR 2 headset, and said that the game will be available when the PSVR 2 headset is released, and "Among Us VR" will also land on meta Quest and PCVR platforms at the end of 2022.
It is understood that "Among Us" is a strategic casual game produced and published by Innersloth, which landed on the Steam platform in 2018 and can be played online by 4-10 people. In the game, the player is on the take-off ship, and one or more random players in the crew are imposters who are trying to kill everyone, and all the player has to do is find him and survive. Last December, developer Inner Sloth announced plans to develop a VR version of Among Us.
According to reports, "Among Us VR" will inherit all the core mechanics of "Among Us", allowing players to be in the core area of Skeld. While completing the task of repairing the spaceship, players must also beware of the "killer" hidden in the team.
Schell Games was carefully worded to avoid mentioning whether PSVR 2 would launch by the end of 2022. There has been speculation that the PSVR 2 may not be released this year, with recent reports that both the PSVR 2 and Apple's MR headset have been postponed to 2023, in line with a report earlier this year by PSVR without Parole that said the PSVR 2 will be launched in the third quarter of 2023.
