"Splendid World - The First Intangible Cultural Heritage Weaving and Embroidery Printing and Dyeing Technology Exhibition in 2022" will be opened on the morning of March 12 at the Haikou Convention and Exhibition Workshop. The 24 solar terms will knock on the prelude to the boutique exhibition on the spot, and the exhibition will set up four sections of Splendid Love, Splendid Hainan, Splendid Life, and Splendid Fashion, combined with static exhibition, dynamic display, live exhibition, on-site exhibition and sales, etc., to give the audience a sensory experience of vision, hearing, smell, touch and taste.
Hainan Lijin has a history of more than 3,000 years, and its skills are the oldest cotton textile dyeing and embroidery techniques in China and even the world, and are known as the "living fossils" of China's textile industry. In 2009, the traditional weaving and embroidery skills of the Li people were included in the first batch of "Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding" by UNESCO.
The Splendid Hainan Plate focuses on the representative works of "Traditional Textile, Dyeing, Weaving and Embroidery Techniques of the Li Nationality", as well as the intangible cultural heritage projects that Huang Daobo has had an important impact on the cotton textile industry in the Yangtze River Basin after 40 years of learning art transmission in Yazhou, Hainan Province, and improving textile tools.
