Lexus said the model "symbolizes the future of the Lexus brand" and is capable of reaching 62 mph (100 km/h) in two seconds. Thanks to the possibility of using solid-state batteries, it will also have a range of 430 miles (700 kilometers).

"By developing pure electric vehicles, Lexus will evolve into a brand that offers a range of driving experiences, leveraging its unique capabilities to develop performance and honing its craft to make products that are more personalized in terms of performance, quality and appeal," the brand said of itself.

The car is part of an entire lineup that Lexus plans to launch in 2030 under its electrified brand vision. The company says it wants to use electrification to "increase driving pleasure" for all customers. It will provide a linear response that is faithful to the driver's intent. It seamlessly connects the vehicle's deceleration, steering and acceleration with the driver.

Previously, Lexus had said that the new electric sports car would inherit LFA's "secret recipe". These images show that the car does look important. The coupe's body style has high and powerful hips, making it a classic sports car.

The yet-to-be-named model will be unveiled alongside six other models from the Lexus brand, which will have an electric car in every market segment in the future. Meanwhile, Toyota unveiled eight electric vehicles at its electric vehicle launch on December 14 last year. In addition to the sports car and some compact cars, Toyota also showcased SUVs, crossovers, vans and pickup trucks.
