SAIC Volkswagen ranked third, with sales of 137,617 units in January, down 19.9% year-on-year, and its domestic market share also fell to 6.6%.
Geely Automobile, SAIC-GM and Dongfeng Nissan ranked fourth to sixth respectively, and SAIC-GM's decline was also large, falling 20% in January to 120,021 units.
In the list, the most eye-catching sales volume is BYD, which sold 95,032 vehicles in January, a year-on-year surge of 126.7%, the highest sales increase in the list. At the same time, BYD is also the top domestic new energy sales car company in January.
