Suzhou added 7 confirmed cases and 1 asymptomatic infected person!

Today (February 14), Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, held a press conference on epidemic prevention and control to introduce the latest situation of epidemic prevention and control.

There were 7 new confirmed cases and 1 asymptomatic infection in Suzhou

At the press conference, as of 11:00 a.m. on February 14, Suzhou had 7 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia and 1 case of asymptomatic infection.

Confirmed case 1, currently residing in Suzhou Industrial Park, engaged in warehouse import materials (import non-cold chain goods) planning in an enterprise in the park. From February 13 to Suzhou Kowloon Hospital, he visited the fever clinic and tested positive for nucleic acid. Diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 (mild).

Confirmed case 2, currently residing in Wujiang District, engaged in IT work in a company in the park. On February 13, he developed fever and other uncomfortable symptoms, and went to the fever clinic of Jiangsu Shengze Hospital for treatment, and the nucleic acid test result was positive. Diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 (mild).

Confirmed case 3, currently residing in Wuzhong District, engaged in laboratory-related work in a unit in the park. From February 13, he went to the respiratory department outpatient clinic of the Municipal Hospital (Main Department) and the nucleic acid test result was positive. Diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 (mild).

Confirmed case 4, currently residing in Gusu District, engaged in software development related work in a company in the park. From February 13, he went to the fever clinic of the Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the nucleic acid test result was positive. Diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 (mild).

Confirmed case 5, the husband of case 1, currently residing in Suzhou Industrial Park, is a staff member of an enterprise in the park, and found a positive nucleic acid test in the close screening on the evening of February 13. Diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 (mild).

Confirmed case 6, currently residing in Wuzhong District, is a staff member of an enterprise in the park, is a colleague of case 2, and went to the fever clinic of Suzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from February 13, and tested positive for nucleic acid. Diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 (ordinary type).

Confirmed case 7, the daughter of case 3, aged 3 months, lives in Wuzhong District, and was found to have a positive nucleic acid test during the close screening. Diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 (ordinary type).

Asymptomatic infected person 1, case 3 employed by yuejie, currently residing in Wuzhong District, temporarily residing in Wujiang District, and found a positive nucleic acid test in the close screening on the evening of February 13. Diagnosed as an asymptomatic covid-19 infection.

The above positive infected people have been transferred to designated hospitals for treatment in a closed loop.

Suzhou has checked 429 people and 851 people

Gu Haidong, member of the Standing Committee of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee and executive vice mayor of the Suzhou Municipal Government, informed that after the outbreak of the epidemic, Suzhou Quickly launched the epidemic emergency response command system, set up 12 working groups, quickly organized forces to carry out flow tracing, delineated the scope of control areas, quickly controlled and screened close contacts, and implemented hierarchical and classified control of epidemic-related personnel and places.

As of 11:00 a.m. on the 14th, a total of 429 people have been tracked and investigated, 272 people have been centrally isolated, and 157 people are being transferred; 295 people have been nucleic acid sampled, and 222 people have produced results, all of which are negative. A total of 851 people have been tracked and investigated, 543 people have been centrally isolated, and 306 people are being transferred; 537 people have been sampled for nucleic acid, 266 people have produced results, all of which are negative, 32,090 people in key groups of other risk groups have been investigated, 32,032 people have been sampled for nucleic acid, and 18,729 people have produced results, all of which are negative.
