This is the first batch of export cars in Hunan Province in the Year of the Tiger.
The cars are all produced at the Xiangtan base of Hunan Geely Automobile Company. According to the person in charge of the company, in recent years, Geely Automobile has sold well in the Russian market. It takes about 2 to 3 months to export by traditional sea transport mode, which cannot fully meet the market demand, and it only takes about 20 days to take the China-Europe express train, which effectively helps Geely Automobile's sales in Russia to rise. This year, Hunan Geely Automobile will focus on opening up the markets of Countries along the "Belt and Road" such as Russia and Kazakhstan, and strive to exceed 1.6 billion yuan in exports.
In order to ensure the smooth flow of international logistics channels for Hunan manufacturing enterprises before and after the Spring Festival, Changsha Customs adopts the method of making overtime appointments to guide enterprises to declare remotely, ensure that the business of train declaration and customs transfer is "on-the-go"; and cooperate closely with railway and freight companies to ensure the punctual delivery of China-Europe trains. In January 2022, a total of 87 China-Europe express trains (Changsha) were supervised, an increase of 141.7% year-on-year; during the 7-day long holiday of the Spring Festival, a total of 16 China-Europe express trains (Changsha) were shipped, with an average of more than 2 trains per day.
