It is worth noting that the "Hengchi 5" that recently completed the first car off the production line is also in the list. The declaring enterprise is Evergrande New Energy Automobile (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., and the product name is pure electric multi-purpose passenger car, that is, Hengchi 5.
Just a few days ago, Xu Jiayin, chairman of the board of directors of Evergrande Group, stressed at the mobilization meeting that on the basis of never allowing the sale of the company's assets, it is necessary to have cash to return to the special account for the supervision of the baojiao building, and do everything possible to resume sales and resume normal operations.
The industry generally believes that the Hengchi 5, which is about to be mass-produced, is the origin of Xu Jiayin's turnaround.
The first experience centers will open
Public information shows that in the three years since the car was built, Hengchi Automobile has invested more than 50 billion yuan.
As Hengchi's first mass-produced model, Hengchi 5 successfully rolled off the production line at its Tianjin plant on December 30 last year, 12 days ahead of schedule.
On January 12, Hengchi Automobile officially released the official off-line promotional video of Hengchi 5, which showed the car and the production status of the factory.
However, the capital market at that time did not seem to buy it. Since the release of the news, Evergrande Automobile's stock price has been tepid, as of February 11, the close of trading at HK$3.67, with a total market value of HK$39.8 billion, is not as low as the total cost of the company's cumulative investment.
In fact, as early as last November, Hengchi 5 LX has appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
According to the data declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the length, width and height dimensions of the car are 4725mm* 1925mm * 1688mm, the wheelbase is 2780mm, the maximum speed is 180km/h, the engine is TZ210XS051 of United Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., the peak power is 150kw, and the rated power is 60kW.
According to the planning previously disclosed by Evergrande Automobile, Hengchi 5 positioned A-class SUV, priced at less than 200,000 yuan, is the lowest positioning and cheapest model among the 9 models of Hengchi Automobile, and benchmarks Audi Q3, BMW X1 and other models. NEDC has a range of more than 700 km.
According to informed sources, at present, the first batch of Hengchi experience centers will be opened in key cities such as Tianjin, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and the national layout of after-sales service centers is being comprehensively promoted, and Hengchi Automobile has entered the sprint stage of mass production and sales.
600,000 units were delivered this year
However, some industry insiders told the Observer Network that it is expected that the real mass production of Hengchi 5 will wait until August this year at the earliest. Evergrande has been in a liquidity crisis for half a year, and Hengchi Automobile has also repeatedly admitted that if there is a lack of further capital investment in the short term, the mass production schedule of new energy vehicles may need to be postponed.
That is to say, Xu Jiayin and his Evergrande Group still have to hold firm for at least half a year in the darkest hour.
On the sixth day of the Lunar New Year (February 6), Xu Jiayin personally presided over the 2022 Evergrande Group Baojiaolou New Year Construction Mobilization Conference.
Xu Jiayin proposed at the meeting that this year to hand over about 70 million square meters and 600,000 sets of buildings, which is equivalent to nearly 50% of all Evergrande's projects to be delivered within the year.
It should be known that when Evergrande was operating normally in previous years, the inflow and outflow of funds was very large, such as 1.3 trillion yuan in 2019 and 1.2 trillion yuan in 2020, and in the past, the peak period of delivery was only 500,000-600,000 households a year.
Nowadays, in the context of almost no capital inflow, it is not easy for Evergrande to achieve the goal of handing over 600,000 units.
It is worth noting that Xu Jiayin deliberately stressed that the completion of this goal is carried out under the premise of "never allowing the sale of company assets".
He said that at any time, the company's assets should not be sold cheaply, and attention should be paid to preventing loopholes in the process of asset disposal. You can't rely on selling assets at a low price to pay off debts, otherwise it will be difficult to pay off debts when assets are sold at a low price.
