Chery Group's sales of new energy vehicles in January were 20,635 units, an increase of 179.6% year-on-year

Jiwei Network News (Text/Wu Jiaxi) On February 11, Chery Automobile issued a statement saying that Chery Holding Group sold 107,710 terminals in January, an increase of 20% year-on-year, a record high in the same period of history. In January, 87,040 units were sold in batches, up 11.8% year-on-year. Among them, overseas exports were 26,900 units, an increase of 60.9% year-on-year, and sales of new energy vehicles were 20,635 units, up 179.6% year-on-year. Exports and new energy have hit new highs in the same period of history, creating a good start for the rapid growth of sales in 2022.

With the continuous breakthrough of new products and new technologies led by "user thinking + Internet thinking", chery Group's orders for various brands have increased significantly, driving sales to continue to rise. Of the 87,040 wholesale sales, Chery Automobile sold 67,486 units in January, up 34.3% year-on-year. The star model Tiggo 8 Series sold 16,686 units (including exports) in January, up 12.3% year-on-year.

In overseas markets, Chery Group continued to export 26,900 vehicles in January 2022, an increase of 60.9% year-on-year, after breaking through the 20,000-month export mark of 2021. In the New Year of the Tiger, the international Chery has received a special "opening gift" - Chery's "global car" OMODA 5 ushered in the first car off the production line on February 8. The OMODA 5 is Chery's first model to be developed entirely in accordance with the definition of international high-end market demand. This car fully meets the highest five-star standards of the global new car safety evaluation (NCAP) including China, the European Union, Australia, Central and South America, Southeast Asia, etc., reflecting Chery's new ideas of developing products and innovating business models with "user thinking + Internet thinking". OMODA 5 plans to launch its first listing in overseas markets in the first half of this year.
