Not only would he rob the caravans and horses passing by at the foot of the mountain, and obtain a large amount of gold, silver, treasure and precious goods, but he would always lead his brothers to harass the people in the city.

Sometimes, he even ordered his men to tie the rebels behind their horses and drag them to death. Over time, the caravans and the people were afraid of chengqu's torture, so they dared to be angry and dare not speak out.
Later, Cheng Qu and his gangster brothers became famous for the local people. However, an incident that happened later made people's impression of Chengqu change somewhat.
Killed 500 Japanese troops, and finally steamed alive
