1. Kunming University of Science and Technology: Now it has 1 national key discipline, 1 national key cultivation discipline, and 23 provincial key disciplines. There are 111 undergraduate majors, 34 second bachelor's degree majors, and 43 night and letter majors. After more than 60 years of development, a large number of scientific and technological innovation talents and important scientific and technological achievements that are well-known throughout the country and even the world have emerged, among which Professor Qu Weide pioneered the "shock and damping principle" and applied it to the development of the first artificial earth satellite on the mainland; Professor Liu Beichen invented the world's first inverted arch steel cable bridge.
