Actively advocate the concept of Chinese youth cultivation, and effectively deepen the practice of Lide Shuren School

Focusing on the theme of the era of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, in view of the lack of integration of school education values and the problem of the value void in the growth of young people, Professor Liu Tiefang's team of the College of Educational Sciences of Hunan Normal University has long explored and practiced the fundamental problem of "what kind of people are cultivated by Chinese education", put forward the concept of Chinese juvenile cultivation in December 2017, and formally established the China Juvenile Cultivation Alliance in June 2018. So far, Professor Liu Tiefang's team has successfully built a number of regional demonstration schools, and widely disseminated the concept of Chinese youth cultivation through speeches, forums and public accounts.

With the orientation of cultivating Chinese with roots and souls, we construct a practice system

The Chinese juvenile cultivation practice system takes the cultivation of "Chinese" in the sense of "culture-life" as the value orientation, takes "educating Chinese teenagers and becoming life meteorological" as the basic concept, takes "being a confident and heroic Chinese teenager" as the leading goal, takes "establishing a healthy body and mind, appreciating all things in the world, playing the six arts and five classics, covering ancient and modern Chinese and Western, cultivating spiritual courage, and becoming a Chinese teenager" as the specific path, and taking "Chinese spirit, cultivating correct culture, integrating curriculum, xingfa teaching, independent development, and overall education" as the school strategy. Strive to achieve the life weather that chinese teenagers should have today, enhance the spirit of the school, and ultimately point to the improvement and transcendence of the overall life weather of the Chinese nation.

In terms of research vision, the cultivation of Chinese teenagers emphasizes grasping the spirit of the times. The cultivation of Chinese teenagers takes the cultivation of new people of the times who bear the great responsibility of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation as the starting point, emphasizes the national identity and cultural self-confidence of the Chinese, takes the cultivation of Chinese with roots and souls as the educational orientation, deeply responds to the fundamental question of what kind of people to cultivate, and strives to take root for the Chinese nation and establish Chinese roots.

In June 2018, Professor Liu Tiefang's team established the China Youth Cultivation Alliance. The alliance takes the growth of ideas - school improvement - teacher training - concept dissemination as the work path, and takes the alliance meetings, theme forums, school seminars, alliance workshops, curriculum diagnosis, training activities, and reading book writing as the activity methods to carry out the overall practice exploration of Chinese juvenile cultivation.

Based in Hunan, the China Youth Cultivation Alliance has gradually expanded its influence to Hubei, Guangdong, Liaoning, Gansu, Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing and other provinces and cities. The Alliance has now established 17 base schools and 64 Alliance schools. Under the guidance of the alliance concept, a number of schools have become demonstration schools of the alliance and developed into regional famous schools, such as Changsha Datong Ruizhi Primary School, which advocates "children and natural beauty encounters", Changsha Taiyu Primary School with "Shangmei" as the core, Changsha Huaxia Experimental School, which builds a new curriculum system of "inheriting classics, art and sports, complementing humanities and harmonious development", Changsha Peizhi Special School, which strives to "let every child shine the light of life", Changsha Mingda Middle School, which pursues "human civilization and morality, shanshui dacai", Changsha Mingda Middle School, The Second Experimental School of Longhua District of Shenzhen, which builds the characteristics of middle school education based on the spirit of Middle Way, Dalian Dongjiagou Primary School, which aims to "run a good school at the doorstep of the people", and Wuhan Optics Valley Experimental Middle School, which focuses on "helping education".

The core team of the alliance has carried out more than 100 speeches in Hunan Province and all over the country around the concept of Chinese youth cultivation and school practice, held the National Xingfa Education Forum, and held various forums and seminars such as "Analects and Education" and "Classical Tradition and Humanistic Indoctrination", which had a relatively wide impact. The alliance public account "Liu Tiefang Humanistic Education" takes the Classical Education Research Center of Hunan Normal University and the Base School of the China Youth Cultivation Alliance as a solid foundation, deeply explores the concept and practice path of Chinese youth cultivation, and is committed to improving the spiritual pattern of contemporary Chinese education. The Alliance is now supported by The Tin Ka Ping Foundation, Hunan Huaxia Investment Group and Yixin Education Group.

In the future, Professor Liu Tiefang's team and the China Youth Cultivation Alliance will continue to be based on the core issues of individual adults in contemporary China, closely follow the theme of Lide Tree, take ancient and modern Chinese and Western as the basic vision, take theoretical thinking and practice deepening as the path, write educational research papers on the land of China, and continue to explore the Chinese way of education.
