The bad news: Lyriq is stopping a new round of bookings.
The good news: bookings will be open after the March release.
GM's production plans have also been adjusted: 25,000 Cadillac Lyriq electric SUVs and 21,000 GMC Hummer electric pickups will be produced this year, which is a lot more than originally planned: 3,200 Cadillac Lyriq and 3,800 GMC Hummer electric vehicles. In addition to this, Chevrolet Bolt production will be restarted this year.
The first version of Lyriq is based on the Aoteneng platform, rear-wheel drive, maximum output power of 255kW, equipped with a 100.4kWh battery pack, pure electric endurance of 483km. 122km on 10 minutes of charging, 314km in 30 minutes.
