Remember a set of road test spy photos that were rumored some time ago (above)? Some say it is Huswana Vitpilen 1301, some say Brabus 1300R, today this real hammer officially fell, confirmed to be KTM BRABUS 1300R!
Today, foreign media released a set of photos, confirmed to be KTM Brabus 1300R renderings, in which brabus and 1300R words are clearly visible. It was also the first appearance of the Brabus 1300R. In the photo we can see a lot of red saddles made of carbon fiber with stitching, and maybe this version will be more expensive than the limited edition Super Duke.
From this front end, it can be seen that it coincides with the road test in the first picture of the article, so it can be determined that the road test exposed some time ago is the KTM Brabus 1300R. As we all know, Brabus is the German Mercedes-Benz royal modification brand, this time with KTM to launch the Brabus 1300R, it is not clear who will be released later.
However, according to the leaked information, this car should not be much different from the "Super Duke" in technology, but because of the large number of carbon fiber materials, and the size reduction will lose another 5 kilograms and will be more compact. Therefore, on the Brabus 1300R, the engine should be the powertrain of the KTM 1290 Super Duke R, with a maximum horsepower of 176 hp and a maximum torque of 141 Nm.
According to previous certification data, the height should remain the same as the 1290R, while the length should be reduced by 46 mm, the width should be reduced by 30 mm, probably for the installation of the handlebars, and the wheelbase was also shortened by 5 mm, and it was these changes that made the Brabus 1300R 5 kg lighter than the 1290 Super Duke R.
The positive news from these circulating photos is that the car features a double overlapping exhaust and a red cushion with visible stitching. The badge on the tank indicates that the car will be produced in limited quantities, and then the photo shows us a fuel tank cover and carbon fiber single-seat cover, as well as various carbon parts, and it is reported that the price of this car may reach 40,000 euros. According to the first news, the new Brabus 1300R should be unveiled in the next few days, and then go on sale on February 14.
