The latest pictures maximize the restoration of the E-DUKE that was blurred in the original new car plan, although it is a pure electric model, we can see that the designer still retains the design features of the DUKE series to the greatest extent. According to some data released in the new car plan, the E-Duke is comparable to the entry-level 125 Duke in terms of power output. It is equipped with a 5.5 kWh battery pack with a motor power of 10 kW (13.4 hp), the range has not yet been announced, and it is expected to exceed about 100 km. And the battery pack will be a fixed unit, which means that the user will not be able to replace the battery by substation.
Although this E-DUKE has long been officially confirmed by KTM, a release date has not yet been provided. Given current market trends, KTM's first electric motorcycle is likely to launch next year. KTM is likely to initially focus on the European market, where awareness and acceptance of electric vehicles is much higher, and customers will focus on young consumers looking for novel ways to travel.
E-Duke will likely be manufactured by India's Bajaj, who has set up a new plant in Pune dedicated to the production of electric vehicles, where KTM and Husqvarna's electric two-wheelers and Bajaj's own EV products will be produced.
