Tesla also recalled another 817,000 vehicles on a large scale

Tesla is launching the largest recall in history in the United States, with 817,000 units, covering four tesla models on sale.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recently said that because the driver starts the car without wearing a seat belt, the vehicle's alarm system may not start, and Tesla will recall more than 817,000 vehicles in the United States, involving model S and Model X from 2021 to 2022, Model 3 from 2017 to 2022, and Model Y from 2020 to 2022.

Tesla recalled the vehicles because the seatbelt tone may not ring when the vehicle is started and the driver is not fastening his seat belt. Tesla will fix this problem in the form of an OTA, and since the U.S. Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) considers the lack of seatbelt tones to be a safety risk, Tesla cannot solve this problem with software updates alone, it must be included in an official safety recall. However, if the OTA can't solve the problem, it means that the owner may need to drive to Tesla after-sales to deal with it.

In the past two months alone, Tex has initiated multiple recalls. At the end of 2021, the U.S. Road Safety Administration said Tesla recalled more than 475,000 Model 3 and Model S electric vehicles in the United States to address issues such as rearview cameras and trunks that increase the risk of collision.

Subsequently, the State Administration for Market Regulation announced that Tesla decided to recall some imported Model Ss with production dates from January 21, 2015 to November 18, 2020, for a total of 19,697 units. and some imported Model 3s with production dates from October 4, 2018 to November 20, 2019, for a total of 35,836 units. as well as some domestically produced Model 3s with production dates from October 14, 2019 to December 27, 2020, totaling 144208 units.
