Dressed in costumes and holding flower sticks, 119 middle school students from Xiaba Town Middle School in Wudang District danced to the accompaniment of drums, suona and tuba under the leadership of Wang Guocheng, the district-level inheritor of the provincial intangible cultural heritage flower stick dance. The flower stick dance, which is rigid and soft, flexible in rhythm and full of changes, is known as the "Oriental Disco", showing the wildness and enthusiasm of the Miao compatriots.

This year, the flower stick dance of Xiaba Town Middle School in Wudang District participated in the national parade, and the Miao people called the flower stick dance as "the sea bream", also known as the money stick, which is a unique national dance of young men and women of the Miao nationality who use the money stick as a performance prop, and the flower stick dance of the Miao nationality in Wudangkabao was named as a representative project of Guizhou provincial intangible cultural heritage.

As an intangible cultural heritage, how to keep the flower stick dance alive? Xiaba Town Middle School in Wudang District adapted the flower stick dance into radio gymnastics, and every day during the recess exercise, the teachers and students of the school concentrated on the playground to do flower stick exercises. This special inheritance method gives a new connotation to the ancient flower stick dance, and students can feel the style of traditional culture while strengthening their bodies.

It is understood that as one of the main activities of the countdown to the "5.19 China Tourism Day", more than 2,700 people from various cities (prefectures) and 10 districts (cities and counties) of Guiyang City formed 25 parade phalanxes, with 3 parade theme devices along the parade route, focusing on the display of Guizhou's ethnic culture, history and culture, fashion of the times, and tourism characteristics.
