A few days ago, we learned from Koenigseec that Koenigsegg announced that it will expand its existing plant, and the new part of it will use the production of the supercar Gemera. In addition, a unique experience center and a test track will be opened.
The expanded building will cover an area of more than 30,000 square meters, of which the new "Gemera" factory will be connected to the existing office building of Koenigsegg, the exterior design of the Gemera factory is inspired by the accordion layout of the old factory in Sweden, maximizing the use of space and daylight, and the interior is an open space with potential for expansion.
Outside the factory and office building, Koenigsegg plans to add a track for testing new cars before delivery and for testing prototypes. Coupled with a second 11,000-square-meter plant built in Angelholm last year, Königsegg has enough space and resources to develop more new models and more businesses in the coming years.
