Among them, the cumulative sales of TNGA models in the whole year 665345 units, accounting for 79% of the total sales, an increase of 23% year-on-year. The popular sedan Ralink family is the entry-level model of the TNGA architecture.
The annual sales volume 229859 units, exceeding 200,000 for four consecutive years, and the Leiling dual-engine model accounted for 34%, the annual sales volume was 78827 units, an increase of 56% year-on-year, and the sales volume of all hybrid models in the Chinese market for two consecutive years was the first (data source: National HEV model insurance data from January to December 2021).
The cumulative sales of GAC Toyota Highlander in 2021 reached 107733 units, an increase of 13% year-on-year; among them, the monthly sales of 3 consecutive months in the fourth quarter exceeded 10,000 units, and in December, it reached 14,401 units, an increase of 39% year-on-year, becoming the ace model of the domestic medium-sized SUV with the same price, and has been the medium-sized SUV model with the highest retention rate in China for many years.
In terms of domestic model layout, GAC Toyota has gradually transferred to the TNGA camp, and TNGA-based models, such as Camry, Leiling and other models, have been tested by China Insurance Research Institute, and the quality and safety of vehicles allow owners to rest assured.
At the same time, in terms of power performance and fuel economy, it has also increased by 15% and 25% respectively, the utilization rate of parts sharing has increased, and the maintenance cost of the owner in the later period will also be reduced year-on-year, which is also one of the important reasons for the popularity of TNGA in China.
