According to the data, the number of new energy vehicles in Hainan has reached 122,400, with a growth rate of 91%, ranking first in the country; a total of 58,700 new energy vehicles were promoted throughout the year, an increase of 88% year-on-year, and 235% of the annual promotion target was completed, exceeding the target.

In addition, as of the end of last year, Hainan's personal field promoted 48,400 new energy vehicles, accounting for 82.4% of the total promotion, which also shows that the recognition of the human automobile consumption market continues to increase. At the same time, the proportion of new energy vehicle ownership in our province has also risen to 7.2%, 1.7 times higher than the national average, and the market penetration rate has increased to 25.8%, 13.1 percentage points higher than the national average.

In order to promote the development of new energy vehicles, Hainan has promoted relevant preferential policies, such as More than 1500 special parking spaces for new energy vehicles in Haikou, Sanya and other places, and traffic police departments in many places have also set up green channels for new energy vehicle registration.

In addition, Hainan also attaches importance to the construction of supporting charging equipment, as of the end of last year, the province has built more than 40,000 charging piles, maintaining a new energy vehicle pile ratio of 2.4:1. It is worth mentioning that in October last year, Sanya was successfully shortlisted as a pilot city for the power exchange model of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
