RedNet Moment, January 25 (Reporter Zhou Yuguang) On January 24, Chongqing Ruilan Automobile Technology Co., Ltd., a joint venture company under Geely's power exchange and travel, completed the industrial and commercial registration procedures and officially settled in Liangjiang New District, Chongqing. The new company will be engaged in the research and development, sales and operation of automobiles, including but not limited to tram replacements. The Ruilan automobile brand and related product information will be officially released in the first half of 2022.
In October 2021, Geely Automobile Group CEO Gan Jiayue proposed for the first time at the "Smart Geely 2025" strategy conference that a new "power exchange travel brand" will be launched; in December of the same year, Geely Automobile and Lifan Technology jointly announced that the two sides would each invest 300 million yuan to set up a joint venture company; on January 1, 2022, the global name campaign for the joint venture company with the theme of "Awakening Free Force 2022" was launched; on January 24, the joint venture company was named "Ruilan Automobile".
The newly established Ruilan Automobile is an automobile company with independent production qualifications jointly established by Geely Automobile and Lifan Technology, relying on the strong technical advantages of Geely Automobile, with a complete research, production, supply and marketing system, positioned in a new generation of power exchange travel new potential energy.
The power exchange mode is a good supplement and a better choice for the current new energy market. It has the advantages of low car purchase cost, fast energy replenishment speed, high service integration, high security, and small impact on the national grid, etc. Whether it is B-end or C-end users, they can complete the energy replenishment in a few minutes or even less, which is convenient and fast.
