On the afternoon of January 19th, 50 students from the 11th class of Yantai No. 1 Middle School had just finished the tense final examination, and they went to the tax hall of the State Taxation Bureau, the Optometry Center of Yuhuangding Hospital, the traffic police brigade, the Coast Road community and the Qishan community to carry out social practice and volunteer service activities.
In the tax hall of the State Administration of Taxation, through professional explanations, the students realized the important role of taxation in the country's economic and social development and the improvement of people's lives, and completed the volunteer service work such as guiding taxpayers to handle taxes.
At the Optometry Center of Yuhuangding Hospital, after the training, the students completed the volunteer service work of guiding patients to the doctor, as well as the practical work of checking the vision of the patients.
Under the guidance of a large team of police officers from the traffic police, the students did the practice and volunteer service work of directing traffic and assisting pedestrians at the intersection of South Avenue and Southwest River Road.
In the Coast Road community and the Qishan community, the students carried out epidemic prevention publicity, garbage removal (small advertisement) practice and volunteer service work.
Through the development of the above activities, on the one hand, the students felt the characteristics of different positions, which provided a reference for their future career planning, on the other hand, they also experienced the hardships of different positions and encouraged themselves to study harder.
