Xu Xinrong was elected chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Zhang Guangzhi was elected vice chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
Bai Lijun noted that at the beginning of this month, Xu Xinrong appeared in public reports as "secretary of the provincial CPPCC party group and director of the United Front Work Department of the provincial party committee.".
Zhang Guangzhi was previously a member of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and the Director of the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee. At the opening ceremony of the Fifth Session of the 12th CPPCC National Committee of Shaanxi Province on January 18, Zhang Guangzhi sat in the front row of the rostrum, and his identity was already deputy secretary of the party group of the provincial CPPCC in public reports.
According to the official resume, Xu Xinrong, born in April 1962, is a native of Qianxian County, Shaanxi Province. He started his career in August 1983 and worked in Xianyang in his early years, serving as deputy secretary of the Qindu District Party Committee, district governor, secretary of the district party committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Xianyang Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Qindu District Party Committee, and in March 2004, he was appointed deputy secretary of the Xianyang Municipal Party Committee.
In November 2006, he was transferred to the deputy secretary of the Weinan Municipal Party Committee.
In February 2008, he was appointed deputy secretary, vice mayor and acting mayor of Weinan Municipal Party Committee.
In March 2008, he was appointed deputy secretary and mayor of Weinan Municipal Party Committee.
In February 2013, he was appointed Secretary of the Weinan Municipal Party Committee.
In June 2015, he was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and secretary of the Yan'an Municipal Party Committee.
In February 2021, he was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee, the director of the United Front Work Department, and the deputy secretary of the Party Group of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
The chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the secretary of the party group was previously served by Han Yong, who was born in October 1956 and is a native of Jiutai, Jilin Province.
Zhang Guangzhi, born in August 1961, is a native of Yanggu, Shandong. In October 2001, Zhang Guangzhi, then assistant inspector and director of the Secretariat of the General Office of the Central Propaganda Department, went to Gansu to take up a post as deputy secretary of the Tianshui Municipal Party Committee. For the next 7 years, he worked in Tianshui, from deputy secretary of the municipal party committee to mayor.
In February 2008, he was appointed executive deputy director of the Organization Department of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee (at the level of the main department).
In January 2013, he became a vice-provincial governor of Gansu Province.
In April 2014, he was transferred to Guizhou and successively served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and the Director of the Propaganda Department, a member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, a director of the Propaganda Department, and the chairman of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology.
In November 2016, he was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and the director of the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee.
In January 2022, he was appointed vice chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and deputy secretary of the party group.
