In the afternoon of the same day, the Huangshi Fire Department received an alarm that at about 13:40, a van waiting for a red light at the intersection of Ma'anshan Road and Daquan Road suddenly spontaneously ignited, please provide rapid support. After receiving the police, the Huangshi Fire Rescue Detachment Tuanchengshan Special Service Station immediately dispatched 2 vehicles and 13 fire rescue personnel to the scene. The van was caught in the cab, where the fire was small and no one was trapped. The fire immediately extinguished the van with a water gun to cool down the fire and extinguished the fire in about 5 minutes.

According to the female employee of the gas station at ma'anshan intersection, she was refueling at the time, and suddenly found that the van waiting for the traffic light at the intersection was smoking, and she and her colleagues quickly picked up the dry powder fire extinguisher and ran to help. After using a 4 kg fire extinguisher, the fire was not extinguished; then 2 more 8 kg fire extinguishers were used, and the fire was still not extinguished; and finally a 35 kg fire extinguisher was used, and the fire was finally controlled.
