From the scene, this blue ideal ONE was in a stopped and uncharged state at the time, the fire point was suspected to be located in the front of the vehicle, the fire was more ferocious, the smoke was several meters high, and the rear door was open.
Subsequent photos showed firefighters controlling the vehicle fire, but the ideal ONE had been burned into a skeleton, and the black material after burning was scattered on the ground.
At present, Ideal Car has not responded to this.
According to incomplete statistics, this is the fourth fire incident involving the ideal ONE model since it was reported.
In May 2020, a new Ideal ONE without a number plate spontaneously ignited in the engine compartment during driving. After investigation, the accident had nothing to do with the quality of the car, but an after-sales staff member forgot to take a piece of paint protective mat when the car was delivered for maintenance, and the high temperature caused the protective pad to be ignited.
In August 2020, an Ideal ONE caught fire on the Zhaoqing Expressway in Guangdong Province, but fortunately there were no casualties. After investigation, the cause of the fire was initially judged to be that the suspected iron sheet object had broken through the high-pressure tubing after being rolled up at high speed, causing fuel to splash and be ignited by the high temperature of the exhaust pipe.
In November 2021, an ideal car chased after the Weilai SUV in front of it on the highway, causing two vehicles to be damaged to varying degrees, and the rear ideal ONE caught fire in the front cabin after the collision, and then the entire front of the vehicle was engulfed in flames.

The results show that an ideal ONE that has traveled 100,000 kilometers, there is a significant oil stain or even sludge phenomenon around the cylinder block of the extended range engine, which may lead to a decrease in the performance of the range extender and be accompanied by a certain degree of use risk. In the event of a collision or accident, the presence of sludge near the high-pressure oil rail may become a combustion aid for a vehicle fire.
