Recently, at the "First Meta-Universe New Car Conference in 2022", GAC AION LX Plus was officially launched. A total of 80 Zhizun edition, 80D flagship edition, 80D Max edition and Qianli edition of the new car were launched, and the price range after subsidies was 286,600-459,600 yuan.

It is understood that as the latest flagship of the AION family, AION LX Plus adopts GAC Aeon's world-first sponge silicon anode chip battery technology, and has three original technologies of "nano composite silicon technology", "self-repairing adhesive technology" and "gradient composite coating technology", so that the brittle and hard silicon anode sheet becomes as soft as a sponge.

More importantly, GAC Aeon has reduced the volume of lithium-ion batteries by 20%, reduced the weight by 14%, and increased the cell capacity by 25% through this technology, while activating the capacity talent of the negative electrode piece, so that the AION LX Plus pure electric endurance reaches 1008 kilometers.

"GAC Aeon is to make the silicon anode piece of the battery as soft and elastic as a sponge. That is, when you expand, I squeeze out your moisture like a sponge to make you shrink; when you shrink, I give you moisture like a sponge to allow you to expand properly, so that the natural expansion and contraction of silicon is offset and limited by buffering. At the same time, the silicon anode absorbs water like a sponge and can store more electricity. Some netizens described it this way.

Pei Lin, director of automotive digital user experience in J.D. Power China, said that whether it is new energy car owners or potential car buyers, the primary concerns about new energy vehicles are still focused on the mileage and charging convenience, especially the "endurance shrinkage" caused by the battery is not antifreeze.

Some analysts pointed out that GAC Aion LX Plus put forward a constructive solution to the problem of "winter endurance attenuation" from the technical level.
