Before forming a happy marriage and family with Zhuo Lin, Deng Xiaoping had 2 marriages, but he and these two wives had no connection, and they both ended in different tragedies.

Deng Xiaoping was born on August 22, 1904 in Paifang Village, Xiexing Township, Guang'an County, Sichuan Province. However, he also got the opportunity to go to school, and in 1918, with excellent results, he was admitted to Guang'an County High School, and in the autumn of the following year, he went to Europe to work-study.
After returning to China, he began to devote himself to the revolutionary cause of the Party, single-mindedly fighting for the victory and peace of the motherland.
His wife, Zhuo Lin, whose original name was Pu Qiongying, was born on April 6, 1916, and was a famous lady. Her father, Pu Zaiting, was the founder of Xuanwei Ham, and was also a patriot who was determined to save the country with industry, so he was greatly praised by Dr. Sun Yat-sen, who personally inscribed 2 words for him:
"Major General First", "Unity of Strength".
Pu Zaiting, who made important contributions to the cause of defending the country, became a major general of the Republic of China and was a successful businessman and national hero who was deeply respected by the people.
Due to the favorable family conditions, Zhuo Lin received a good education from an early age, excellent in character and learning, and was admitted to the Physics Department of Peking University through practical and hard study.
On July 7, 1937, under the influence of the "July 7 Incident", Zhuo Lin was forced to go through the procedures for leaving school and transferred to Yan'an to participate in the revolution.

As the daughter of patriot Pu Zaiting and a woman, both of these identities put her in great danger. In order to go to Yan'an safely, she disguised herself as a fleeing ordinary person, and after reversing the car and taking a boat all the way bumpy,

After arriving in Yan'an, while studying at Yan'an Northern Public School, striving to accumulate cultural knowledge, while fighting for the party's revolutionary cause, in 1938, with outstanding performance, he became a communist party member. In order to better carry out the revolutionary work, she changed her name to "Zhuo Lin", and has been using this name ever since.
In Yan'an, through the introduction of people, Zhuo Lin and Deng Xiaoping became acquainted, and from then on, they were determined to live a lifetime. After the two met, in the same ideals and mutual appreciation, they gradually came together and married in August 1939.
At this time, Zhuo Lin was only 23 years old, but she was already a mature and good wife, and after marriage, she not only managed everything in the family properly, but also a heroic revolutionary fighter.
He was able to share weal and woe with Deng Xiaoping in the years of war and strife, and never gave up.
After marriage, the two respected, understood, and supported each other, and were good comrades in arms who fought side by side for the nation, and they were also a loving couple who were in love with each other, emotionally harmonious and stable, and accompanied by 58 spring and autumn seasons.

Zhuo Lin left a will before her death, and at the last moment she still did not forget to serve the motherland and put forward two demands
: One is to donate her cornea to people in need and donate her body to medical institutions for research; the other is to scatter her ashes to the sea and merge with the mountains and rivers of the motherland.
