The father of the three sisters, Pu Zaiting
Yunnan Xuanwei is a beautiful place, there is a well-known "Sherwei ham" in the country, and there is a famous big family ~ Pujia. The three sisters of the Pu family were born in such a big family. The eldest sister Pu Daiying, the second sister Pu Quartz, and the younger sister Pu Qiongying.
Their mother, Pulei
The little sister Pu Qiongying is Zhuo Lin, the wife of Comrade Deng Xiaoping, whom we are all familiar with. "Pu Qiongying" was her original name, and "Zhuo Lin" was the name she later changed after she joined the revolution. Many of the people who participated in the revolution in that era changed their names in order not to affect their families. For example: Peng Zhen's original name was Fu Maogong; Hua Guofeng's original name was Su Zhu and so on.
Three sisters of the Pu family
The head of the Xuanwei Pu family in Yunnan is called Pu Zhongjie, whose character is in the court, is a famous national industrialist in the southwest of the earthquake, who runs the famous Xuanwei ham, the famous ham king of Yunnan, was awarded the rank of major general by Sun Yat-sen, served as the director of the Dian Military Quartermaster Bureau and the director of the Tobacco and Alcohol Public Sale Bureau, and won the fifth class Jiahe Medal.

Their mother's surname was Lei, called Pu Lei, and all three of them also embarked on the road of revolution.
Zhuo Lin was born in 1916 in The Xuanweipu family in Yunnan. She is the youngest child in the family, life is very rich, there is the protection and pampering of her parents, the care of her brothers and the company of her sisters, and she spent her childhood cheerfully, lively and joyfully.

The Pu family is a big family, and in Zhuo Lin's (Pu Qiongying) generation, there are 13 girls just as uncles and sisters, and Pu Qiongying ranks 13th, which is the youngest. Above her, there are countless aunts and aunts and sisters and so on.
A couple who are in love with each other
The women of these Pu families lived in more closed feudal cages. Some of them are the lowest in this big life system. The women of these old-fashioned families, who cannot produce themselves and marry independently, are enjoying glory and wealth all day long, and are ultimately just the attachments of their fathers, husbands, and sons, and some of them have been abused by their stepmothers and have fallen into lifelong disabilities; some have been depressed because their husbands have begged for a little wife; some have been bullied by their husbands' families, and finally have to commit suicide...
Zhuo Lin and her two sisters, who have witnessed these misfortunes since childhood, have been indignant about the unequal encounters of women in this world since childhood. In the husband's place, in the elders, they learn the three from the four virtues. In life, they see the reality that men are inferior to women and women are bullied.
Therefore, in their small minds, the consciousness of resistance often arises, but they do not know how to resist.
An early family of four
Only the tide of the times can cleanse the dull atmosphere of society.
The brother of the little sister of the Pu family returned from Japan and brought back many revolutionary books and pamphlets for propagating communism, which the three sisters held in their hands, which was very novel. They did not understand all of those revolutionary truths and the revelation of the truth, but after reading them, they were like a spring breeze and refreshing. From then on, they began to receive some inspiration from revolutionary ideas.
After the three sisters went to school in Kunming, they felt more new things than Xuanwei.
In secondary school, there is a music teacher who, in the classroom, often preaches to the students about revolution, communism, and the basic principle that the tiller has his land. The three sisters of the Pu family were particularly deeply affected by him. One day, the instructor was suddenly arrested. On the way to the execution ground, the handcuffed and shackled teachers sang generously and lamented all the way, and shouted communist slogans all the way. The awe-inspiring and heroic scene of righteousness shook the hearts of every student. Since then, the image of the communists has been engraved in the hearts of the Pu family sisters.
In 1932, Pu Qiongying (Zhuo Lin) was admitted to The First Girls' High School in Beiping. Girls' No. 1 Middle School is a famous girls' school in Beiping, with a pure school spirit, active air and remarkable achievements. Pu Qiongying is very happy to live in this new environment.
In 1936, Pu Qiongying graduated from high school and was admitted to the Department of Physics of Peking University with honors.
In the same year, her two sisters, Pu Daiying and Pu Quartz, also won the family's consent and came to Beijing to study together, and the three sisters gathered together with unspeakable joy.
Le Shaohua and the three sisters
However, the situation took a sharp turn for the worse, shattering their good wishes.
On July 7, 1937, the Japanese invading army launched an incident at the Lugou Bridge near Peiping. Japan began an all-out war of aggression against China. In late July, the Iron Hooves of the Japanese invaders stepped into the ancient city of Beiping.
The eldest sister of the three sisters, Dai Ying, was resolute in her will and courageous in resisting since she was a child, and when the motherland was in danger, she joined the "National Liberation Vanguard", a peripheral organization of the Communist Party, and then firmly chose the road to revolution and rushed to Yan'an, the revolutionary holy land to which Chinese youth yearn.
In November 1937, Pu Qiongying (Zhuo Lin) and her second sister Pu Quartz also came to Yan'an.
In Yan'an, the Pu family sisters were refreshed and their spirits were lifted. The eldest sister, Pu Daiying, has graduated from the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University and joined the Chinese Communist Party, and she is still married. Her husband was a famous Chinese workers' movementist, veteran Red Army soldier Le Shaohua.
Le Shaohua
Pu Quartz and Pu Qiongying both entered Northern Shaanxi Public School.
Shaanbei Public School, a school established in Yan'an to train cadres, was just established in September 1931 to recruit progressive young people from all over the country. Here, the trainees were taught Marxist philosophy, political economy, mass movements, women's movements, and other courses, and the famous female leader Cai Chang often taught in person.
Three or four months later, the Pu sisters graduated. Pu Qiongying was assigned to work in the library of Shaanxi North Public School. Due to physical reasons, Pu Quartz temporarily worked in the commissary.
In early 1938, the Pu sisters both joined the Communist Party of China.
After Serving as the captain of the first phase of the 12th team at the Shaanxi Northern Public School, Pu Qiongying was transferred to a special training class in the Security Department of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region Government.
At this time, because of the needs of work, Pu Qiongying changed her name to "Zhuo Lin".
At the end of 1939, through the introduction, Zhuo Lin met Deng Xiaoping. Since then, they have been working together for nearly 60 years. Hand in hand through nearly 60 years of brilliant, brilliant and difficult and tortuous extraordinary years.
