But what is intriguing is that there is a special general of the Siye Army, although he has not led the army to fight, but he was also awarded the rank of lieutenant general in 1955, and the commander of the Four Fields, Lin Zong, once gave this subordinate a supreme evaluation: he alone can reach 100,000 male soldiers.

This person is the legendary General Su Jing.
Su Jing is a native of Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, and has been famous in the countryside since she was a child because of her talent and poetry. However, this intellectual did not want to be poor, but actively participated in anti-imperialist and anti-feudal, anti-Japanese and salvation movements, and at the age of 22, he threw himself into the pen and resolutely joined the Red Army guerrillas.
By chance, Su Jing, who had learned photographic techniques, became an informal "photographer" of the Red Army and took many precious photos of the Red Army.
Later, Su Jing served as a member of the operations section and the chief of the reconnaissance section of the headquarters of the Red First Army. During the fourth and fifth anti-"encirclement and suppression" and long marches, he successfully completed the vanguard reconnaissance mission many times and became a pioneer.
Some people have counted that in the Long March of the Red Army, Su Jing, who was originally a "white-faced student", became the person who walked the most in the entire Red First Army.
It is worth mentioning that in many reconnaissance activities, Su Jing found out the law of the Kuomintang aircraft attacking the Red Army, so that the Red Army could avoid a large number of casualties in the enemy's air raids.
It was precisely because of this special contribution that Nie Rongzhen, political commissar of the Red First Army, gave special commendations to Su Jing.
In the War of Resistance Against Japan, Su Jing also successfully defused a dangerous situation by virtue of his superior wisdom - at that time, Lin Zong and Zuo Quan led some personnel to almost stray into the desert due to getting lost, Su Jing calmly let go of the reins of the war horse, and successfully found a way out, so that everyone could get out of trouble smoothly.
In the Battle of Pingxingguan, which is famous for its military history, Su Jing, who was then the head of the reconnaissance section of the headquarters of the 115th Division of the Eighth Route Army, also made an important contribution to the victory of the troops.

Later, the situation became more and more severe, and Lin Zong had to lead the main force of the Northeast Democratic United Army to retreat all the way north of the Songhua River, the army was demoralized and demoralized, and it was urgent to fight a big victory to sweep away the decline, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable.
At such a critical moment, Su Jing used his own way to solve the urgent need for the commander-in-chief, and he withstood tremendous pressure, solved a series of technical, manpower, material resources and other difficult problems, formed a relatively complete intelligence system, and brilliantly completed the important tasks of reconnoitring the enemy's movements externally and communicating with various units internally.
In February 1946, Su Jing personally led more than 100 intelligence personnel, braving the severe cold, tirelessly working hard and running in many directions, and finally found the intelligence that the Kuomintang 89th Division had blindly moved to Xiushuihezi, and Lin Zong led his troops to decisively attack, annihilated all this enemy, and won the first big victory after marching into the northeast.
Two months later, Su Jing obtained important information, and our army severely damaged the Eighty-seventh Division of the Seventy-first Army under the Kuomintang general Chen Mingren in the Battle of Dawa, and annihilated more than 4,400 enemy troops. After the battle, Lin Zong praised Su Jing to his secretary Ji Zongquan: "His role alone is equivalent to 100,000 male soldiers!" ”
During the Battle of Jinzhou in 1948, the five columns of our army in the northeast failed to attack many times, but paid a considerable casualty price, leaving the resourceful Lin Zong helpless.
After many in-depth investigations on the front line, Su Jing single-handedly put forward the proposal of attacking the city with a tunnel for close operations, which made Lin Zong open his mind at once, thus commanding our army to conquer Jinzhou in one fell swoop, laying the foundation for the victory of the Liaoshen Campaign, which was of great significance.
During the Battle of Pingjin, Su Jing, as a member of the negotiation team, made new contributions to promoting Fu Zuoyi's troops to revolt and peacefully liberate Peiping.
