Canada opens an investigation into a complaint about Tesla's heating system

According to media reports, Canada's auto safety regulator said it had launched an investigation into the heating systems of Tesla's Model 3 and Model Y cars. There have been 16 previous consumer complaints that the air-conditioned heating system of their Tesla vehicles did not perform well in cold weather.

It is reported that many Tesla owners complain that the vehicle's heat pump will fail under extreme conditions. Early last year, in order to solve this problem, Tesla replaced the heat pump sensors of the Model 3 and Model Y models from 2020 to 2021.

Tesla did not immediately respond to requests for comment. In 2020, Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted that Tesla Model Y's heat pump was one of the best I've ever seen.
