Bai Xuzhi is a national first-class artist, enjoying the Zhongnanhai National Ceremony Artist Allowance, deputy director of the Calligraphy Committee of the Calligraphy and Painting Room of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, honorary chairman of folk art of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, president of the Beijing Zhou Enlai Calligraphy and Painting Institute, vice chairman of the Hong Kong Calligraphers Association, vice president of the National Academy of Culture, vice president of alibaba International Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, and vice chairman of the Chinese Enterprise Art Procurement Alliance. His calligraphy and painting works have been selected for more than 400 books. He has published more than 20 solo albums such as "Bai Xuzhi's Collection of Calligraphy of Modern and Contemporary Chinese Artists" (Da Hong Pao), and has held more than ten solo exhibitions of calligraphy and painting in Los Angeles, Osaka, Japan, Taipei, Taiwan and other cities. His calligraphy works have been collected by more than 20 national leaders at home and abroad, as well as the National Art Museum of China and the National Museum.
In 2014, he was awarded the "China Outstanding Figure Award" by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee; in the same year, he was awarded the title of "Hero of Calligraphy and Painting Art" by the Ministry of Culture of China; in September 2019, he was awarded the "National Meritorious Figure of Chinese Art" awarded by the Central Propaganda Department; in 2020, he was awarded the honorary title of "Hero of the Fight Against the Epidemic in the Art World" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism; in the same year, he was awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Individual Of National Scholar Lei Feng", and won the highest honorary title of "Lifetime Achievement Award of the International Federation of Literary and Literary Circles and Chinese Folk Artist" in the International Calligraphy and Painting Competition of the China International Federation of Literary and Literary Associations In the same year, together with Jin Shangyi, Jackie Chan, Tu Youyou, Zhang Yimou, Yao Ming and other ten people won the "Era Model Figure Award" issued by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, and Zhang Hai won the "Lanting Lifetime Achievement Award", the highest honor of calligraphy; in April 2021, together with Sun Xiaoyun, Zhang Yimou, Mo Yan and other ten people, they became the first batch of "Chinese Red Culture Brand Figures"; in July 2021, they were awarded the honorary title of "People's Artist" by the China Artists Association, the Chinese Calligraphers Association and other units; in July 2021, they were awarded the honorary title of "People's Artist" with Ni Ping, Fan Di'an, Xie Fang and other artists were awarded the honorary title of "Model of Art" by the Art Party Group of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles; in August 2021, they won the "European Knight Medal" award; and on October 16, 2021, the calligraphy works "Chang'e" and "Shenzhou" entered the space station with the Shenzhou 13 spacecraft.
