The reporter had just walked into the door of the Yangxi County Calligraphers Association, and a smell of ink came to his nose, and Li Xuliang was splashing ink. His pen is sharp and flowing, the pen is full of strength, and the profound artistic skills are displayed in one ink treasure after another. "I was influenced by my family and teachers since I was a child, and I became associated with the art of calligraphy when I was 7 years old. It has been almost fifty years since the initial copying of the handwriting. Li Xuliang recalled.
Li Xuliang has liked to immerse himself in the ocean of calligraphy art since he was a child, and although the learning process is very boring, his interest is the best teacher. He never quit the pool, enjoyed it, and the level of calligraphy continued to improve.
"At that time, the conditions at home were not good, so I used waste newspapers as rice paper and repeatedly copied them to improve the level of calligraphy. When I was studying, I found that the writing on a 'Pujitang' stone stele was very well written, so I copied it repeatedly for an unknown number of times..." Li Xuliang said that it was not until 1989 that he systematically learned the theoretical knowledge of calligraphy art by studying correspondence courses at the university, and also laid a solid foundation for further improving the level of calligraphy.
Li Xuliang insisted on taking the ancient as a teacher, not only able to write various calligraphy styles such as kai, xing, cao, seal, and li, but also was known for his cursive writing, and also formed a calligraphy art style with his own characteristics.
Li Xuliang's works have frequently appeared in major calligraphy exhibitions in provinces and cities, and have been widely praised by calligraphy masters and all walks of life. In December 2014, Li Xuliang's works were selected for the 6th Guangdong Calligraphers Association Newcomers New Works Exhibition and won the Excellence Award.

In addition to the relatively professional calligraphy exhibition, Li Xuliang has also actively carried out many "grounded" special activities in the process of promoting the art of calligraphy, bringing the elegant art form of calligraphy to the grassroots and rural areas.
"Under the organization of the county federation of literary and literary circles, before the Spring Festival, I led the members of the county book association into the countryside, into the community, into the enterprise, to carry out activities to benefit the people such as sending the spring league to the countryside, and wrote the spring league and sent blessing characters to the grass-roots masses on the spot. While carrying forward the traditional Chinese culture, it also brings them a strong Taste of the Year. According to Li Xuliang, the county book association has held more than 20 grassroots activities in the past two years, and has achieved good social benefits.
In order to better promote the art of calligraphy, the Yangxi County Calligraphers Association took the lead in establishing party branches among the associations of the county federation of literary and art circles, and insisted on leading the development of literary and artistic work with party building.

Since March this year, under the guidance of the Yangxi County CPPCC Committee and the Propaganda Department of the County PARTY Committee, the County Federation of Literature and Literature and the County Education Bureau have organized the County Calligraphers Association and 10 literary and art societies such as the County Writers Association, the County Artists Association, the County Music Association, and the County Dance Association, to take the opportunity of establishing a rural public welfare literary and art school to vigorously carry out the "literary and art public welfare class" into the campus activities.

"In the process of learning calligraphy, there are also many truths about being a person between a stroke and a pinch, which is very beneficial to the healthy growth of children and young people." Li Xuliang said that he will work with the members of the association to give full play to the role of the rural public welfare literary and art school as a fighting fortress and give more classes and good lessons for rural students.
Under the vigorous promotion of the main leaders of Yangxi County, many schools such as Tangkou Town Center Primary School have joined the ranks of "Rural Public Welfare Literary and Art Schools", aiming to cultivate rural students' interest in China's excellent traditional culture by taking the form of dots and noodles.
In a month, Li Xuliang went to the rural public welfare literary and art school for many times to teach voluntarily, and carried out calligraphy art enlightenment education for rural students, so that they could appreciate the charm of calligraphy art at their doorstep.
"I grew up in the countryside, and I used to see on TV that the children in the city had a rich after-school life and could learn many art courses, and I was very envious of them. Today I learned the calligraphy public welfare course at school and I feel very happy! Chen Baohuan, a student at Tangkou Town Center Primary School, said happily.
"I started with the most basic methods of writing and calligraphy strokes, and gave the students an introductory lesson, and they also became interested in the art of calligraphy."
