On the morning of April 26, the "Xinzhou Staff Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" sponsored by the Xinzhou Federation of Trade Unions, undertaken by the Xinzhou Elderly Calligraphers and Painters Association, and co-organized by the Xinzhou Cultural Research Institute opened in Wutaishan Calligraphy and Painting Institute. Since its launch in March, the event has received a warm response from trade union organizations at all levels in the city and painting and calligraphy enthusiasts, collecting a total of 242 calligraphy and painting works, and 140 excellent works have been exhibited after expert screening and review. The calligraphy works exhibited in the exhibition include simple seals, neat and timeless calligraphy, and free-flowing grass, which are diverse in form and rich in content. The paintings involve a variety of subjects such as figures, landscapes, flowers and birds, with vivid pen and ink, colorful colors, and strong appreciation and artistic appeal.
With the theme of "Welcoming the 20th National Congress of the Party and Building a Meritorious Taixin Integrated Economy", the calligraphy and painting exhibition aims to praise the party and the motherland, reflect the development achievements of Xinzhou's economy and society on the road of transformation and new development, reflect the new atmosphere, new achievements and new appearance of Taixin's economic integration construction, and sing the strong voice of the times of "labor is the most glorious, labor is the greatest, labor is the most noble, and labor is the most beautiful". Each of the works on display is either majestic and directly expressive, or soothing and delicate, eloquent; or elegant and ethereal, light and free. For the book, the style is simple, sincere, flexible and intellectual changes; for the painting, the style is simple, ancient and elegant. It depicts for us the beauty of the motherland's great rivers and mountains, shows the spirit of the vast number of workers and staff in the city and the spiritual driving force for promoting the social development of the city's economic construction.
