It is reported that the bus was organized and developed by the Zhejiang Tsinghua Yangtze River Delta Military-Civilian Collaborative Innovation Research Institute, aiming at the lightweight direction of the whole vehicle at the beginning of the development, through the forward design of the carbon fiber composite body and other system optimization configuration, the vehicle measured 10 tons, more than 2.5 tons less than other vehicles of the same type, greatly saving 100 kilometers of hydrogen consumption. At the same time, the design concept of the layout of the subway carriage of the whole vehicle is adopted to realize the passenger boarding step by step, the barrier-free and fast passage of the whole vehicle is fully flat floor, the riding efficiency is increased by at least 50%, the safety of passengers in the car is significantly improved, and the standing area of the same number of seats is increased by more than 60%, and the driving experience is better.

At the same time, in addition to the power of hydrogen energy, the carbon fiber composite material technology used in the car has the six advantages of "more energy saving, more economical, safer, more comfortable, long life, and no corrosion", which is about 10% stronger than the metal material and about 30% lighter than the metal material.

On December 16, 2021, 20 carbon fiber composite new energy buses were successfully delivered to Jiaxing Haiyan Hongyuan Bus Company, which is also the second batch of carbon fiber composite lightweight new energy buses delivered after the first batch of 18 "Red Ship" carbon fiber composite new energy buses were put into operation in Jiaxing bus in August 2021. It is reported that these two batches of buses are driven by pure electric power. The first batch of buses have now been operated in Jiaxing City, and have achieved obvious energy-saving effects.
