Wang Shaohuan's flower and bird paintings have always shown their artistic appearance in two styles, brushwork and freehand, Wang Shaohuan's works are mellow and upright, exuding a strong literary atmosphere, and the picture is clean and warm as beautiful jade.

Whether it is the qingli yazheng of the flowers and birds, or the plain and innocent of the freehand flowers and birds, Wang Shaohuan's painting style is derived from the essence of tradition and comes from the new meaning, and his raw flower magic brush flows out from the bottom of his heart, casting his own unique feelings and affection.

Spring comes to the valley with babbling water
——Wang Shaohuan's new flower and bird painting after-effects
From the time When Shao Huan was admitted to the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, I began to have a friendship with his teachers and students, I remember that when I gave them lessons, Shao Huan's hard work and simplicity left a deep impression on me, and later I learned that he came from a solid family in Lingnan, but he did not have the social habits that many young people were prematurely contaminated at the moment, so I paid more attention to him. After graduating from undergraduate, he was admitted to the graduate school of Professor Jia Guangjian, although he began to specialize in flower and bird painting, but he also had contacts with me from time to time, so he thought that he had witnessed the hardships and achievements along the way.
Reading Wang Shaohuan's paintings of flowers and birds reminds me of a phrase once said by the Qing Dynasty scholar and calligrapher Jiang He: "Those who have the heart to teach, when they enter with the rules, then come out of the rules." Studying Chinese painting not only requires contemporary young painters to "learn from the present, from the ancients, and from the teachers", but also to "go to sisi, lie down all day, go down to the bottom of the day, and travel in tibet, so as to succeed." It can be said that Wang Shaohuan is such a seeker and inquirer.
Under the careful guidance of his mentor Jia Guangjian, Shao Huan's painting styles are diverse and changeable, sometimes splashing ink, sometimes carefully sketching, sometimes gentle dot dyeing, and the paintings presented are intriguing and interesting.
Although the forms of his flower and bird paintings are changeable, he has always studied hard in the four aspects of water, color, ink and pen, and looked at the delicate dripping of lotus flowers, the pearls of the lotus, and the fresh sweetness of vegetables and fruits in his paintings, which are inseparable from the use of "water"; and such as the bold use of the big red wall in "Morning Rest", the autumn wind and cold and lonely atmosphere created in "Jintang Huisu Autumn" are also an excellent display of "color"; the ink lotus that is spilled arbitrarily under his pen is either thick or light, or stretched, or curled, or Xiao Suo is dry, or the posture is abundant. All stem from the good use of "ink"; the brush line seen in the painting is fast or slow, or neat or neat, in the "phi, turn, ton, and frustrated", and the hook and coil that retracts freely is his understanding of the "pen".
From the small talk with Shao Huan, he learned that he was very dissatisfied with the current situation of impetuosity and utilitarianism in the current painting world, and he had the ambition to add positive energy to the painting world with his own dedication and silent cultivation, and strive to express the meaning of his heart. It is precisely because he has such an indifferent state of mind that his paintings can create a beautiful realm and atmosphere in the intentional or unintentional, if and if they are separated.
Painting is the way of loneliness, but Shaohuan not only has a good understanding of Chinese painting, a very deep basic skill, but also a mentality of being willing to keep loneliness, and with the passage of time, the positive energy injected by Shaohuan into the painting world will surely show its effect day by day. Let's wait and see!
