"Shen Shihui Painting Collection" meets with readers
Jointly sponsored by Tianjin Artists Association and Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, the "Huiying Yunshan - Shen Shihui Landscape Painting Exhibition" will open at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing on April 16. This is another high-level exhibition of Tianjin painters in the national art hall in recent years. The exhibition title "Hui Ying Yun Shan" was inscribed by Mr. Wu Weishan, director of the National Art Museum of China. The new hardcover painting collection "Shen Shihui Painting Collection" inscribed by Mr. Sun Qifeng met with readers on the same day.
Shen Shihui is a famous Chinese painter. Born in Tianjin in 1959, he graduated from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1985. He is currently a professor at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, a master tutor of landscape painting at China Painting Academy, vice president of China Yunhai Painting Academy, president of Tianjin Bohai Painting Academy, member of China Artists Association, art consultant of Shanghai Wu Changshuo Memorial Hall, and director of Tianjin Artists Association. Shen Shihui has been engaged in art education and creation for decades, and his teaching and creation of landscape painting is unique in the contemporary Chinese landscape painting industry. The "Huiying Yunshan - Shen Shihui Landscape Painting Exhibition" held at the National Art Museum of China will exhibit more than 120 of his landscape paintings, which are divided into two units: "Creation, Heart Source" and "Ink Poetry". The unit of "Creation, Heart Source" focuses on his new exploration in the creation of landscape painting in recent years, showing the new realm of landscape painting that he wants to express, and the "Ink Poetry" unit mainly shows his research and creation achievements with splashed ink scattered sharp freehand landscape painting as the main line. Among the exhibits are two recently created ten-meter-long scrolls" "Huiying Yun Mountain" and "Xinglong Mountain", the paintings are magnificent, empty and clear, with love into the painting, with scenery lyricism, whether it is a lofty mountain or a waterfall and a spring, it gives the viewer a beautiful artistic enjoyment.
In the mid-to-late 1980s, Shen Shihui with his incomparable love for the mountains and rivers of the motherland and the persistent pursuit of art, made a pioneering exploration in the performance of Chinese painting yunshui, he entered life, returned to tradition, did in-depth special research on the performance of yunshui, made breakthroughs and innovations in the expression language and techniques of landscape painting clouds and water, and formed a unique painting method in the expression of clouds and fog in Chinese landscape painting, which was called "Shen's Cloud" by the painting circle.
For more than 30 years, Shen Shihui has devoted himself to the study of the important role of emotion and emotional factors in the creation of Chinese ink painting, realized the scattered brush strokes from sister arts, and obtained the influence of his predecessors, formed a new look of Chinese Scattered Landscape Painting, created a unique Scattered Landscape Painting Technique that is different from the ancients and different from today's people, and established a systematic splash ink Scattered Feng freehand landscape painting technique system and theoretical support system from practice to theory.
In many years of teaching practice, Shen Shihui adheres to the research of new pedagogical methods. In 2007, he published the textbook "Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts Shen Shihui Splash Ink Scattered Feng Freehand Landscape Painting". In 2017, he completed the "New Painting Spectrum" landscape painting teaching material that lasted for 14 years, more than 200,000 words, more than 800 illustrations, and took the Scattered Feng Teaching Method as the main line, thus creating the teaching method and teaching system of the science of splashing ink and scattering freehand landscape painting.
Shen Shihui's artistic creation involves the Yunshui painting method, the splash ink scattered feng large freehand landscape painting method, the one-time completion method, the wet painting method, the ink accumulation method, the white depiction mountain method, and the landscape painting sketching technique, among which there is his own unique language, as well as the part of inheritance and development, and the proficiency, purification and uniqueness of the language can be independently composed of chapters and can be integrated with each other.
In recent years, Shen Shihui has carried out new exploration, perception and excavation in the field of landscape painting creation, looking for new morphemes in landscape painting creation, and stringing these new morphemes into a new landscape painting language with personalization, gradually forming his new landscape painting language and new artistic style today.
Shen Shihui's works have won many awards in national art exhibitions, and he has created large-scale landscape paintings for the VIP halls and reception halls of many institutions. He has held solo exhibitions in Shenzhen Artist Gallery, Hyatt Regency Tianjin, Tianjin Daily, Tianjin Folk Art Exhibition Center, Henan Jiaozuo Jingying Calligraphy and Painting Institute, Tianjin Art Museum, Shantou and Maoming in Guangdong Province. He has published the textbook "New Painting Spectrum" of landscape painting, the textbook of "Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts Shen Shihui Splashing Ink Scattered Feng Large Freehand Landscape Painting", the teaching model of Chinese painting masters "Painting Method of Landscape", the ink flower technique master class "Bamboo" and "Shen Shihui Painting Collection", "Shen Shihui Works Collection", "Bamboo Painting Method", "Bamboo Painting Method", "Lotus Painting Method" and other works.
The "Shen Shihui Painting Collection", which was inscribed by Mr. Sun Qifeng, is a hardcover big eight-open, including 138 of Shen Shihui's landscape painting masterpieces, showing Shen Shihui's research on the teaching method of landscape painting and the new exploration of landscape painting language techniques from many aspects.
The exhibition co-organizers are Shanghai Wu Changshuo Memorial Hall and China Yunhai Painting Institute. Tasly Art Training School and Tianjin Bohai Painting Institute are the organizers of the exhibition. The exhibition will end on April 27.
