If nothing else, just to give your child a name that is both nice, easy to remember, and preferably allegorical. I always think that there are too many Chinese characters, and a good name is not a hand to hand, and when I really want to use it, I find that there are very few words in so many Chinese characters that I like.
As a name, our traditions are too important. Most of the names of Chinese are three characters, and the surnames are inherited from their parents, which basically have no choice, and those who can play freely are only two words in the "name". In ancient times, people named names, women most liked to use "red", "incense" and the names of flowers and trees, while men liked to use some words in Chu Ci.
Due to the serious inferiority of men and women in ancient times, men had several names, so there were more Chinese characters used. But there is a Chinese character, roughly counted, from ancient times to the present, only three people have used it. If this Chinese character is a pejorative word or something, the key is still a commonly used, very positive word, this Chinese character is the "Wang" character. Do you know which of the three people had the word "king" in their names?
The first one: Feng Ye Wang. Shanxi Shangdang people. He was the Taishou of Longxi during the reign of Emperor Yuan of the Western Han Dynasty, and later almost promoted to the rank of "Third Duke", the problem was that he had a sister named "Feng Yuan", who was a noble concubine of Emperor Yuan of Han. Changing others, having a noble concubine sister, was very helpful to his career, but in Feng Ye Wang, it was the other way around, and Emperor Yuan did not let him be the "Third Duke" in order to "avoid suspicion". In the Book of Han, Ban Gu praised him as "a doctor who was well versed in the book of poetry." Feng Yewang was the first person in history to use the word "wang" as a name. Wild, in ancient times, refers to the suburbs, but also refers to the "far away of the rivers and lakes", as opposed to "chao"; wang, facing the south is called the king, the wild king is hoping that although he is not born well, he will be able to get ahead in the future
The second: Gu Ye Wang. This person was a doctor of Taixue during the reign of Emperor Wu of Liang in the Southern Dynasty, and later became the Guanglu Doctor of Southern Chen, a native of Suzhou, Jiangsu. He is also a well-versed and erudite person, and it is said that he knows everything about piano, chess, poetry and painting. At the age of 25, he compiled a book called "Jade Chapter", which was considered by later generations to be comparable to "Shuowen Jiezi", and his talent was evident from this. Later, he also wrote a geography book called "Youdizhi", which allowed posterity to have an understanding of the local customs and objects at that time. He had a very famous descendant, Gu Yanwu in the Ming and Qing dynasties, who was his descendants.
The third: Luo Bin Wang. This is the person who has the word "Wang" in his most familiar name, and he is also the last person to use "Wang" as a name, the first of the Four Masters of the Early Tang Dynasty. A native of Yiwu, Zhejiang during the reign of Emperor Gaozong of Tang. The reason why he is familiar with everyone is his poem "Goose goose goose, song to the heavens", and second, because he participated in Xu Jingye's crusade against Wu Zetian, and wrote a famous essay: "For Xu Jingye to discuss Wu Shuo", one of the most famous sentences, "The soil of one piece is not dry, and the six feet of loneliness is in place", which actually made Wu Zetian laugh back without anger, accusing the prime minister of incompetence and not recommending Luo Binwang to enter the dynasty as an official. These two words of Bin Wang come from the Guan Gua in the I Ching: "Look at the light of the country, use Bin Yu Wang."
I looked through many ancient books and found that among the famous people in history, these three people had the word "wang" in their names.
