In September 684, Li Jingye and his brothers Xu Jingyou, Tang Zhiqi, Du Qiuren, Luo Binwang and others raised an army in Yangzhou. Li Jingye claimed to be the great general of Kuangfu Province, and was known as the King of Qin to save the country and the king of Kuangfu Luling to restore Li Xian, and King Luo Bin wrote the famous "Seeking Wu Shuo for Xu Jingye" to appeal to the world. Li's dedicated soldiers soon increased to more than 100,000.

Under this huge anti-martial banner, the figure of Luo Binwang, one of the four masters of the early Tang Dynasty, was particularly eye-catching.

Since ancient times, the two core elements of the cause of the uprising are absolutely indispensable, one is the barrel of the gun and the other is the barrel of the pen. The latter is no less important than the former, because a good pen can take the lead, boost one's morale in propaganda that glorifies oneself and vilifies the enemy, breaks the morale of the other side, and wins the broadest moral support.

In ancient times, technology was backward and weapons were primitive, so people's hearts and minds did have a decisive significance for the survival of imperial power, and a good pen can influence people's hearts to a considerable extent. Xu Jingye started the army, there was no shortage of soldiers, no shortage of generals, no shortage of weapons, no shortage of grain and grass, only a lack of a pen pole, and the joining of Luo Binwang just filled this most important vacancy.

It is difficult to say whether King Luobin of the Qing Dynasty joined Xu Jingye's camp out of loyalty to the Li Tang royal family or simply because of the bumps in his life. In any case, Luo Bin Wang Fu lived up to the expectations of the public as soon as he appeared, and caused a sensation in the north and south of the river with "Passing on the Heavenly Text on behalf of Xu Jingye" (later renamed "Discussing Wu Wu").

Even Wu Zetian himself could not help but be moved by this article. When she saw the sentence "Moth eyebrows refuse to let people, foxes can confuse the Lord", she just smiled and did not say a word, and when she saw "the soil of a piece has not dried, and the six feet of loneliness hetuo", she could not help but be displeased: "Why did the prime minister lose such a talent!" ”

Unfortunately, however, in Xu Jingye's camp, the barrel of the gun was completely inferior to the barrel of the pen, and the rout of the main force turned the uprising into a rebellion, and the division of justice became a traitor.

Xu Jingye was killed, and King Luo Bin's whereabouts were unknown.

Years later, people have long forgotten the war. Once, the poet Song Zhiwen passed through Qiantang and stopped by to visit the Lingyin Temple. That night, when the moon was bright, Song Zhiqing walked alone in the cloister and couldn't help but move Shixing. "Vulture Ridge is lush, the Dragon Palace is locked and lonely", this joint verse blurted out, and how to continue the next two sentences, for a time the poet was embarrassed.

An old monk in the temple was lighting a lamp and sitting in meditation, and when he saw the poet wandering and burning, he was also moved, and he talked to him: "The young man does not go to sleep, what is he chanting here?" When Song Zhi asked to explain the original committee, the old monk laughed: "Why not write the next link 'LouGuan Canghai Day, door to Zhejiang tide'?" ”

With this connection, Song Zhiqing's thinking was wide open, and he continued the whole poem of the "Lingyin Temple":

"

Lingyin Temple

Don Song asked

Vulture Ridge is lush, and the Dragon Palace is lonely.

Louguan Canghai Day, the door to Zhejiang tide.

The moon of guizi sets in the middle of the moon, and the heavenly fragrance clouds drift outside.

The tower is far away, and the wood is far away.

Frost thin flowers are more hairy, ice light leaves are not withered.

The age of the dream is still different, and the search is annoying.

Stay on rooftop road and see the Yudu Stone Bridge.

After dawn, Song Zhiqing visited the old monk again, but he was already empty. Later, after inquiry, I learned that this old monk was actually the anonymous Luo Bin King.

And the reason why people relish this story is that they all accumulate good feelings and regrets for Luo Binwang, as well as disgust and contempt for Song Zhiqing.

The whole poem of "Lingyin Temple", only "Louguan Canghai Day, Door to Zhejiang Tide" is the best, so good that the other sentences of the whole poem are eclipsed, which is a bit of a sense of abruptness that stands out from the crowd. This conjunction is sandwiched in the whole poem, just as Luo Binwang is sandwiched in the ranks of the equally "famous" poets of the Song Dynasty.
