Tinglin Town has many attractions. According to historical records, there are reading piles, washing ponds, pine snow steles, Lengyan Pagoda, Immortal Cave, Octagonal Well, Lancui Lou, Tooth Pine, etc., known as the "Eight Views of Tinglin". The Eight Views of Tinglin are distributed around Baoyun Temple. Baoyun Temple, formerly known as Fayun Temple, was founded in the thirteenth year of Tang Dynasty (859 AD), the original site was in the northwest of Tinglin Town, flooded during the Jin Dynasty, and moved south to the residence of King GuYe. Due to the wars and vicissitudes, large-scale renovations have been carried out throughout the ages, and there were more than a thousand monks at their peak. In the eleventh year of Qing Xianfeng (1861), the Taiping Army attacked Tinglin, and Baoyun Temple was once again destroyed in the war. After the temple was burned down, it was in ruins, and only the mountain gate remained. In the early days of the founding of New China, the majestic mountain gate still hung with four large golden characters of "Ancient Temple between clouds", which was later demolished due to town construction. Baoyun Temple has endured more than a thousand years, and few relics have survived. The Lengyan Pagoda in Baoyun Temple, one of the eight scenic spots of Tinglin, commonly known as the "Flying Pagoda", is now only the middle pillar "Stone Scripture Building", stored in Tinglin Primary School; the flagpole stone is still preserved at the entrance of the mountain, there is Baoyun Bridge at the door; one of the eight scenic songxue steles, also known as the "Zi Ang Monument", was written by the great calligrapher Zhao Mengfu during the renovation of Baoyun Temple in the Yuan Dynasty, "Records of Songjiang Baoyun Temple", which was later destroyed, and the stele, cap and remnants are stored in the Jinshan Museum, and the National Library of China has a "Songjiang Baoyun Temple Record" rubbing.
