The series of books has both the individual style characteristics of the researchers and the overall logical context; there are many malleable results in addition to the core results.

Critic He Shaojun pointed out that Li Xiaoyan's "Magical Butterfly Change" research on Mo Yan's creative archetypes has opened up new research directions from the perspective of writers' materials; Chen Xiaoyan's study of the differences in the multidimensional spatial construction of the literary homeland points to China's experience and locality by comparing the differences between Mo Yan and Faulkner; Zhang Zhizhong's "Mo Yan Literary World Studies" conducts an extended study of Mo Yan, not only in the text, but also pays attention to the controversy caused by Mo Yan's works, the misinterpretation of the majority of readers and the literary situation in which they live.

Li Er, winner of the Mao Dun Literature Prize, said that the study of the series of books is of great significance to Mo Yan himself and even chinese writers, is an understanding and support for Mo Yan, and helps the world to further understand Mo Yan and Chinese writers. As a writer, Li Er said: "The study of Mo Yan should be more than that of critics, and the writer's interpretation of Mo Yan should also be seen." ”

The seminar was jointly organized by writers press, shaanxi normal university advanced research institute of humanities and social sciences, and the national social science fund major bidding project "Mo Yan literature road and Chinese literature change experience research" research group.
