Mo Yan and Jia Pingwo "touted" each other

There is a saying that the real network is not what you ask for, you attract. This is the "law of attraction": who you are, you will meet.

People with the same magnetic field will attract each other. People with the same energy will get together. As the saying goes: "Corresponding to the same voice, seeking the same breath." "Individuals want to break the circle, they need to become excellent people first, in order to get the qualification to join a good circle." The so-called networking is actually a natural result of personal growth.

There is a very hot question on the Internet: "How to get out of the trough of life?" One high praise replied: "Take a few more steps." "Many people do things with seven seconds of initial intention and three minutes of heat, how many people are willing to cultivate themselves in a down-to-earth manner? If you want to do great things, you must be steadfast.

Only when a person has walked enough roads and accumulated his ability to a certain height, will his life be a different situation, will he meet a higher quality circle, and he will achieve a better self.

A writer once said that the most important thing in our time is smart people, and what is most lacking is actually the "stupid people" who are dead with themselves. Times are evolving, people have more choices, but it seems that it is difficult to stick to one thing for a long time. In the face of time, what we can do is to arch one day and one pawn, and the merit is not donated.

A calligrapher once had a Yan inscription: "Only Yan makes the field, the strings and songs are happy, the Mo family has autumn, and the pen cultivation has no tax." "We live by pen and ink, and make fields from yantai." Another famous painter also specially engraved a seal of "Yantian Old Farmer" to encourage himself. Even in their old age, they still paint every day without interruption. From morning to night, it is either silent contemplation or lying down. No matter what field it is, all those who achieve great things know how to cultivate themselves deeply.

Life does not seek more, only refinement, sink your heart in your own field, and cultivate deeply with an ingenuity to achieve something. Only the "stupid people" who are willing to work hard are the people closest to success. As one writer put it, "Masters are stupid people." Only very stupid people are willing to work hard, will persevere to the top, will grind a sword for ten years, a sword and a sword. ”

No matter what field, if a person wants to be "outstanding", there is never a shortcut, and it must be tempered by time. Forget all those "impossible" excuses and stick to that one "no problem" reason. Life is like a pebble, it takes constant polishing to become perfect. Life can't be full of surprises everywhere, you want to live a life that you have to create on your own, and it is not feasible to always complain and wait.

What people need to do is to sink their hearts, be down-to-earth, stoop to the ground, practice their skills, and seize every opportunity in life. If you can insist on what others can't insist on, you can have what others can't have. Jundang dried up all day, survived the loneliness of the thousands, stepped on thousands of rivers and thousands of journeys, and was tenderly reunited with the best of himself.

While deeply cultivating oneself, one is creating momentum for one's own life.

Jia Ping in my eyes

Text/Mo Yan

I was about the same age as Pingwa and had a similar origin, living in the countryside from an early age and going through the whole process of reform and opening up in the late 1950s, early 1960s, 1970s and beyond. We have also seen a lot of great changes in society, mutual suspicion and struggle between people, and in the great wave of social change, the collision of various morals and values, chaos, development, progress, dregs and brilliance, etc., so I think the works of our group of people are actually closely related to our times, and it can also be said that if there is no such era, there will be no writers like us, and of course, there will be no works like us.

Although we have a lot in common, we still have a lot of our own characteristics. For example, Mr. Pingwo's hometown is in the confluence of the north and the south, and the influence of the southern spirit and the roughness of the north on a writer's creative psychology, as well as a very subtle combination between the culture of the northwest region and the culture of the Central Plains and the south, I think this has formed a lot of Jia Pingwo's deep creative experience. This is not the same as our hometown gaomi in Shandong, he grew up listening to the Qin cavity and drinking the water of the Qinling Mountains, I may have grown up listening to the cat cavity (the small drama cat cavity that spreads in the Gaomi area), he grew up eating rice or eating wheat, I may eat sweet potatoes or corn to grow up, so studying these very specific and materialistic things may be a very effective key to the creation of secrets.

Pingwo in the 1980s was already very famous in the country, reform and opening up he was the first batch of writers to emerge, but we now think about it, many writers who debuted at the same time as Jia Pingwo have stopped writing, rarely see their new works, occasionally there are new works it is difficult to have a new atmosphere, and there are only a few writers who can always write down unremittingly, and Brother Pingwo is one of the brightest stars. And this kind of low-key, humble, and generous way of the flat and concave is also very vocal.

A few years ago, I once read an essay in Japan that was written by Jia Pingwa, who wrote about the name. In the summer of 1986, he suddenly received a telegram from a man named Mo Yan from Xinjiang, asking him to meet him. At that time, I didn't know him, I didn't have any contact, but we were trapped in Lanzhou, to stay in Xi'an, and I couldn't find an acquaintance, and then I said to try to send a telegram to Jia Pingwa and write about Jia Pingwo of the Shaanxi Writers Association. The train was more than four hours late, to the square to see that there was no one anymore, a few of our classmates in the square turned around, shouting Jia Pingwa can not shout, and then they said you don't have to be sentimental there, you don't know people, there is no interaction, why did people take the inexplicable telegram to run so far to pick you up? Later I thought everyone was right. But after many years I read this article to know that Pingwo really went to pick me up that day, rode a bicycle, held up a leather bag, and wrote two words on the leather bag - "Mo Yan", asked everywhere, no one answered him. It's a really good story. After I knew it, I was also thinking, can I do this instead? I didn't know this man at all, why did I pick him up, and I walked around the square for a long time. So I think the money is flat for a meal.

Among Shaanxi writers, even among Chinese writers, among writers of his level and age, he is the one who has gone abroad the least, and has produced very few countries, while in previous years we often went out five or six times a year, and at most eight or nine times a year. Among the writers in Shaanxi Province, Brother Ping is the least out of the province, and he has come to Beijing to only a few universities. In recent years, we may have visited at least one-third of the universities in the country. Mr. Pingwo went abroad less, went out of the province less, and socialized less, but he has been writing with his head stuffed, so he has the most works, and the quality of his works has always maintained a very high standard, and he is constantly denying himself. From the end of the 1970s to the present nearly 40 years, short stories, novellas, long stories, essays, in all aspects, in a variety of genres have made creative contributions. To study contemporary Chinese literature, it would be inconceivable if Jia Ping'ao was omitted.

In fact, as a friend of his and his readers, I debuted several years later, and I felt greatly benefited from reading his big essays such as "Full Moon" and "Shangzhou". My name is Mo Yan, but in fact there are a lot of speeches, more nonsense, Mr. Pingwo is not called Mo Yan, his speech is really small, but there are many famous words. I remember two of his famous quotes, one about the decoration of men, he said that men do not wear new clothes, men are key in two places, one is the foot, the other is the head, polish the shoes, comb the hair and go out, which is very beneficial to those of us who can't afford to buy clothes. Buy a new pair of leather shoes first, then buy a box of hair wax, go out and wipe your hair, polish your shoes, and feel the radiance of the up and down.

In addition, Ping Ou also spoke about his Mandarin, Ping Ou once said that ordinary people speak Mandarin. Did Mao Speak Mandarin? Did Zhou Enlai speak Mandarin? None of them speak Mandarin. So from this we can also prove that Jia Pingwa is a great writer and does not speak Mandarin. His dialect and his creations are actually a good subject for research.

The words in my eyes

Text/Jia Pingwo

China has made a mistake, which is the glory of Chinese literature. In a hundred years, he was the first to let his works give birth to wings and flew to all continents and seas.

The sky is full of sand and dust, and he is a pegasus. When I first read his work, I was not a critic and could not analyze and summarize the meaning of his creation, but I thought of the scene when I was a teenager and set fire to the countryside.

At that time in the countryside, there were often plays staged in a certain village and a certain village in the winter night, and a group of us children ran to see it. That was our happiest thing to do, and when we passed the fields where the crops had been harvested or the banks of some slopes, which were dry grass, we set fire to the wilderness. When the fire is lit, it is a few hundred meters at once. Long flames, red and yellow, spreading downwind, are spectacular. This kind of point wilderness is the work of wild children, adults do not order, good children do not point, because the point of famine can cause the buds and valleys piled up in the field, and may also cause mountain forest fires.

But Mo Yan pointed out that his writing was anachronistic at that time, unconventional, written according to his nature, written freely romantically, and written without regard for everything. Since his absurd writing, the Chinese literary scene has broken the order, and since then, a large number of writers have gathered to revolutionize Chinese literature.

Mo Yan has been developing his genius, and his works are constantly coming out, and in the sound of drums, of course, there are accusations and insults, trying to stifle. But he kept standing firm, and I thought of the wild vine. While the farmers fertilized, watered, pest-removed, and pruned the fruit trees in the orchard, the fruit trees grew sick and sick, but a wild vine grew on the edge of the orchard, and its thick arms and legs grew wildly. It has wild genes, the ability to dig roots in the ground to absorb nutrients, the ability to accept wind, rain, thunder and lightning, and this wild vine grows into a canopy and becomes a building of its own. This is kiwifruit, also known as kiwifruit, which is tastier and more nutritious than other fruits.

After reading a series of his works, at the end of the reading, I thought about the social fire in the countryside the most. When I was a child, I played the core in the social fire in our village, and I knew that the most lively thing in the countryside was the social fire. Each village has a communal fire, and then at ten o'clock it starts to gather and parade on the town street to compete. The core I played was Guan Gong in Taoyuan Sanjie Yi, who got up at six o'clock and was dressed up by adults in the courtyard, tied to an iron frame with cloth, and put on a costume. When the community fire reached the town street, it was a sea of people, red flags were displayed, gongs and drums were noisy, and it was quite carnival. Mo Yan's work is a rural social fire, any sound has any color, you are stirred, you are indulged, you are exploded.

I also thought, what enlightenment did Mo Yan give us?

First, his critical spirit is strong, but he is not currently political but socially human. Lu Xun's critique is such a critique. If it is purely political, it is small, exposed, and it is not literature. This kind of criticism of his is not deliberately intended, he is unconventional in itself, it reaches the power of criticism with new attitudes and new varieties and growth. This is like the ginkgo tree that grows in the mulberry field, and when it grows, it declares that the land can produce ginkgo trees.

Second, his traditional, folk, and modern nature. Tradition is inevitable, he is a Shandong native, there is Confucius, this is his education. Folkness is the formation of his life. Modernity is his learning and the influence of the times. Tradition and modernity are common to this generation of writers, and folkness is different, and only by having folkness can we inherit tradition and enrich and develop modernity.

His writing depends on his songs, and behind his literature is a voice and a soul.

Fourth, he is uncorrivable before success, and imitable after success.

Mo Yan is a person who has grown a face for Chinese literature, and we should thank him, learn from him, and love him. Wishing him to grow like a tree at the mouth of the village is where we can discern the direction of the village.
