On April 22, on the occasion of the 27th "World Book Day", the first batch of 775 copies of the "History of the Development of Old Revolutionary Areas and Counties" was donated to the Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Hall by the China Association for the Promotion of the Construction of Old Districts, providing new materials for the museum to further enrich the exhibition content.

The China Association for the Promotion of the Construction of Old Areas and the Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Hall signed a strategic cooperation agreement, and in the future, the two sides will complement each other's advantages and jointly tell the red story.

The series of books reflects in a concentrated way the historical contribution and status of the people in the old areas in the struggle to create and develop revolutionary base areas under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, excavates and sorts out the red cultural resources such as famous revolutionary historical sites, cultural relics, and memorial venues in the old revolutionary areas, and shows the tremendous changes that have taken place in the old revolutionary areas after the founding of New China, especially since the reform and opening up. "The book provides new materials for us to further enrich the exhibition and display, provides new resources for carrying out normalized and long-term party history study and education, and is also a living teaching material for patriotic education, collectivism education, and heroism education in the future." Xu Zhongyu, general secretary of the party branch and director of the Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Hall, said that in the future, the Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Hall will strengthen cooperation with the China Council for the Promotion of the Elderly, carry out more in-depth excavation of historical materials with the revolutionary relics in the book as a clue, and increase the intensity of cultural relics collection for the old revolutionary areas.

The symposium on the new book "Xiangshan Huazhang in the Centennial Journey - Selected Stories of Cultural Relics and Documents of the Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Hall" was held on the same day. The book records history in terms of objects and sees the big in a small way, and selects 75 important cultural relics and stories of the CPC Central Committee during the Period in Xiangshan, connecting the extraordinary history of the CPC Central Committee in Xiangshan. At the forum, the participants said one after another that the book dug deep into the historical details, highlighted the characteristics of revolutionary cultural relics, expounded the connotation of the revolutionary spirit, filled the gap in the field of research on cultural relics and historical materials of the Xiangshan period of the CPC Central Committee, and deepened people's understanding of the important role and status of the History of the Xiangshan Revolution in the history of the Communist Party of China and the History of the People's Republic of China. In the future, the Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Hall will continue to expand the channels for collecting cultural relics and historical materials, invite experts in the industry to take care of the pass, and lay the foundation for the next stage of cultural relics research.
